She couldn't believe it. After all those talks about handling their jealousy, after all of their whispered promises, even after they had vowed to each other, he'd still gone off and cheated on her. It broke her heart, she had thought after all this time he was the one, and she was the luckiest girl in the world. He had no right to do that, to go off and cheat on her for no reason other than boredom. Hermione said she should move on, that even though he was her friend, he was a twat. A rotten man who didn't deserve Ginny's time or thoughts.
But, Ginny loved Harry with all of her heart, she always had, from the first moment she met him she knew it. She would always look back fondly a her first year. When she saw him more often in school and decided right then and there that she absolutely adored him, the feeling of him saving her from danger not recreatable. It showed her that he cared enough about her to save her from death.
They'd gone through everything together, they survived a war for Merlin's sake! He was her husband, what made him think it was ok to go and sleep with another woman, and then tell the press about it? It hurt her to even think about it, because even after all he'd done she still loved him. Ron said it was foolish, she'd be better off without him, and she agreed. Not that she could bring herself to pack up and move out, nor to file the divorce claim just yet, she would just sniffle and tell whomever asked her that she was working on it.
Today she was cleaning out boxes, seeing what she would bring with her, and what she would leave with him. She'd finally gotten around to searching for a new home and had found a new apartment. She was moving in already, much to her friends' happiness. They were glad she was moving on, but they didn't see the sad look in her eyes as Harry and his new girlfriend traipse around their house. She knew it wasn't hers anymore.
All of it was so overwhelming, so aggravating because there was so much Ginny was feeling. She was angry and sad at the same time, yet happy that Harry had found someone who made him truly happy. Heartbroken that he'd gone behind her back, yet glad it showed her his true colors. And yes she would move on, in time, because things like this took time. She would continue living her lifeā¦
But she would never stop loving Harry Potter.
