He wiped his lips with the back of his hand, the blood staining it almost as red as his hair.

"What are you doing here, little crow?" he asked, "This is the Giant's territory, you little birds aren't invited."

The orange haired child flinched, shaking even as he spoke up. "A-as of last week... this-this is our territory! An-and... I wanted to ask you something."

"Oh?" The redhead turned around to face the shaking ginger. "The little crow wants Tendou's help? Are you sure? I'm not above cannibalism if you're wasting my time."

"I... I was wondering how- how you've managed to get away from the doves? You- you were caught, I saw, and then not a week later you were back on the streets. How?"

"Easy." His gaze seemed to pierce the smaller ghoul's soul as he answered. "I killed them."

"All of them? Then are you like- like an SS rate or something?"

"More or less. I don't care." Tendou turned back to his meal, waving one hand over his shoulder. "Piss off now, you're ruining my appetite."

Tendou heard a rushing of something akin to blood, then the kid was gone, unaware that a second ghoul was following him home.

He sent out a single kagune, piercing the ghoul in the heart. Retracting it slowly, the ghoul was brought back to the redhead struggling.

"Where are you from, little one?"

The ghoul stopped struggling, dropping his kagune as he bit his tongue.

"Fine, if you're going to be melodramatic."

Tendou threw the drowning ghoul into the air, then tore it in half with his kagune.

Blood rained into the alleyway, splattering on the walls and the thing's own desecrated corpse.

"Tch."
