"Would anyone even miss you if I killed you right now?" His red eyes pierced through Kagome, guessing all her fears. "Would anyone look for your body, miss you, after they saw the perfection that is Kikyou? Would they even remember you? No, but, of course, you already know this don`t you? It truly is pitiful to see them use you, lie to you, and you dont even notice. I wish I could help protect that innocence of yours, but you need to be hurt first to realize what I`m saying is true. It is truly sad,but nessecery, for you to see that I`m not the bad guy. White is not always good, just as black is not always bad. You know where to find me."
She watched the images as they flowed past her eyes. It was all true! the last one that stuck with her was one of InuYasha with a girl, but it was not her or Kikyou, no it was her sister Sango. Sango`s eyes showed unbiden happiness, and love as she glazed at InuYasha with obvious lust, what hurt the most was he had the same look in his eyes looking back at her. She knew it was all true, Naraku has not lied to them once, He entraped them yes, even tried to kill them! But he never lied. He had nothing to gain from it, besides Kagome`s miko powers would have caught the lie if it was. The sick feeling she usually get when lied to never came soshe knew this was true. The tears came before the screaming. It felt like her heart was ripped out again, but this time was worse. She trusted Songo, she was her sister, her only true friend here, and Sango ripped her heart out and threw it in acid.
The screaming attracted more attention then Kagome wanted. Being close to town alerted InuYasha that something was wrong, so what does he do? He comes barging in, swinging that huge sword of his, and making things worse! Songo even follows him like a lost puppy only half dressed. Kagome see her and everything goes dead quiet. Knowing and seeing are two completly different things, when she sees Sango`s state of dress she see nothing but a whore, one that bounces between InuYasha and Miroku. She broke completly then, nothing left of the weak, trusting Kagome. No, she is a new animal now, and nobody betrays her.
Kagome`s eyes glowed faintly red, and the madder she got the brighter it got. This scared InuYasha more then anything else he had seen in his 276 years of living. This ment that one of two things,One- Kagome was a demon, ofcourse this was instenly dissmissed since Kagome was a miko, or two- Kagome turned into a dark miko. Both of these options scared InuYasha to no end.
"Kagome? are you ok?" Songo took a step twards Kagome only to be growled at.
"Bitch, Do I look ok? No, I just found out that my suposed sister STOLE the man I LOVE!" Kagome threw these word and watched with a sick kind of satisfaction at the wince of both culprets. There was a whooshing noise and Naraku was standing behind Kagome.
"Do you see the truth now? Do you see how they betrayed you with out a second thought?" The words were hissed but everyone heard them clear as day. Kagome could only nod, she did not trust her voice. "Now will you accept my proposal? Will you join me?"
Kagome took a few minutes for dramatic effect. Then she spoke, "Under one condition, and if you agree the I will join you, I have complete freedom to do what I want when I want."
Naraku nodded enthusiastically, if that was all she wanted then he would agree. Truth be told Naraku was scared to find out that she was a demon. As a miko, with powers not of her own, she was a formidable foe. Now that she had her true power she would be as, if not more, powerful as most taiyoukai. Naraku`s only chance to survive is to get her on his side, which was going swimmingly if he does say so himself.
