Hi guys! This is my first time writing so I'm sorry if there are many fails! Also English isn't my first language so please tell me if I can change anything. If you have suggestions on what I could write about feel free to review or PM me.

Please review and let me know what you think!

This is a fanfic about the Sweet Trilogy by Wendy Higgins. I do not own the Sweet Trilogy or the characters.

Chapter 1. Anna's POV

I was standing in my empty room staring into space, thinking about where we were moving when I heard Patti shouting from the living room.

" Anna! We have to go now!"

I snapped out of my thoughts hearing my adoptive mother's voice. I turned towards the open door and answered her.

" I'm coming!"

When I was about to step through the doorway I looked back at my room one last time and sighed.

I walked out of my room, closed the door behind me and started down the hall. When I reached the living room Patti was waiting for me.

"Are you ready?" She asked me with excitement in her face that mirrored in her aura.

"Yeah, let's go." I answered her, a little shocked to hear a hint of excitement in my voice. She must be rubbing off on me, I thought as I picked up my shoulder bag and followed Patti out of our apartment-or I guess our old apartment- and closed the door.

We walked down the brightly lit staircase and outside into the hot Georgia sun to the ridiculously big and expensive car Dad had bought for Patti and me and insisted we drive. He said it had some extra protection, whatever that means.

I got in the passenger side while Patti walked around the front of the car, jumped in and got behind the wheel.

We buckled in and I looked out the window shield and said a silent goodbye to the home I've lived in since Patti started fostering me when I was a baby.

I was going to miss this place. I had so many good memories here with Patti and my best friend Jay. Jay. I was going to miss him something fierce but I knew that we were going to keep in touch with each other.Yesterday when we said goodbye, I had promised to call every night. If I didn't then he would blow up my phone until I texted or called him back, no matter what I was doing or how late it was.

Patti cranked the engine and we drove out of the parking lot heading for the airport and the plane that was going to take us across the world to our new home and to him.

Sorry I know it's short but that's all I wanted to have in the first chapter.

Please review! It would mean so much to me to hear your opinions! ( Even if they are negative)
