Misty stared at the bike that the old Nurse Joy had managed to fix hatefully.
"Wow Misty, that's great! You can go home now." Ash told her.
"Stupid Ash!" Misty screamed, running out of the Center. How could he. Did she really mean that little to him?
"What did I say?" Ash asked, looking to Brock for an answer.
A red headed girl walked down the street, face downcast. The Togepi in her arms was chirping sadly. "Stupid Ash. How could you say that?" she whispered. "Stupid Ash."
Ash, ran out of the Center with Brock, looking for clues as to where Misty had went.
Misty walked to the park, sitting on a swing. "You're an idiot Ash." she muttered to herself.
"Misty!" A familiar voice rang out. Looking up, Misty saw said idiot running toward her. Brock stopped short, a knowing smile on his face. "Misty, what made you so mad? Didn't you want your bike fixed? That's why you followed me everywhere right?" Ash asked, arms crossed. Misty glared at him.
"You stupid! It might have been about the bike at first, but then it just became an excuse to follow you!" Misty screamed, standing up. She realized what she said too late.
"Then why did you follow me?" he asked. Misty sighed.
"Are you really that stupid?" she asked, tears glistening.
"I really don't know why you're following me then Misty. Honest!" Ash exclaimed.
"Pikachu…Pika." Pikachu left, joining Brock on the sidelines.
"Because…because…" Misty stuttered.
Ash took her by the shoulders. "Misty?" he asked. She leaned in, sniffing his smell. She mumbled something into his shirt. "Wha?" He asked.
"Because…I love you." Misty choked. Tears slid down her cheeks. "I love you." she whispered. Ash instinctively held her against him. Misty buried her face, hiding it from view.
"Togepriiiii!" Togepi chirped.
"Misty." Ash muttered into her hair. He held her close. "I love you too."
