Authors note: I plan this to be one of a series i.e. the diary of a death knight and stuff like that might be coming in the future, but only if I get reviews, so if you like want you see and want to read more, then keep on sending the reviews in. Every, chapter will end up being one diary entry, from the beginning of training to. well that would spoil it wouldn't it. Please, please read on! I know it is short but hopefully the other entries will be a lot longer.

Entry One: I, Kaltek Gon, by the name of Crow, began my training as one of the Horde's workers today.

Though it is tough, I know I will pull through, and help us Orcs take our rightful place as rulers of all!

Today we were simply told that, although we had to be trained in building, repairing, mining and lumber chopping, as well as limited combat; we would most likely be assigned to a particular area once out of training.

We got wind today that the filthy humans plan to attack the camp a few kilometers north of us.

The clan leaders are debating whether to join forces and create a trap.

I hope I finish training soon, so that I may prove my worth in winning this war!

Hang on. My cabin companion, Next Let, has come in.

"It's official! All soldiers are to head to Zenda, apart from the perimeter guards! And all the peons, even the ones who have just begun training are ordered to work!"

"But I don't know how to mine gold or build!" I wonder how I can help apart from normal peon duties, but I am saved by Next."

"That's Ok, you can just hang with me and I'll show you how to do the duties I am assigned to, and you can help,. But we must hurry, because the order was to be carried out immediately!"

Racing out the door, we hear the faint sounds of battle.

"Looks like we got wind a little too late, don't you think?" I tell my friend dryly.

Suddenly, a knight gallops into the Great Hall.

I see at a glance that he will die very soon, if we do not have any paladins handy.

"They are heading towards the camp, closing in from the north, burning as they go. They. they. they have mages, and have completely destroyed our exterior defenses. I was the only one lucky enough to get away." He manages to stutter out, with great effort.

Suddenly, I hear a voice that rings with authority. "Someone fetch a Paladin, quickly! Now you, I want you to go and deliver a message to the barracks to start training archers, and tell half the peons out chopping wood to start building guard towers!" Turning, I see the greatest warlord of our time, Death Doomman. And he is looking straight at me.

"M-m-me sir?" I ask in a trembling voice." B-b-but, I-I-I'm not finished in- "

"Are you questioning my orders??" Death thunders, his eyes flashing.

"N-n-no sir, of c-c-course not. I'm on it!" I respond quickly, racing out of the Great Hall.

And so it is that, as night falls, I find myself at the beginning of a grand adventure, though I am not to know it yet.
