T'was an abomination. Unnatural. For there to be a greater defiance of the natural order was simply not possible.
"I'm more concerned with how we'd feed it"
"How we'd feed it? Fisk!"
Fisk just laughed. That there may be a certain way things ought to be was not something that concerned my squire. "Don't worry Michael, except perhaps about where the kid will come out."
I squeaked, and couldn't help but glance down in concern. I had been so preoccupied with wondering how a child could have gotten in me, the birth had not yet crossed my mind.
"You look a little pale." Fisk noted.
"How could I not? T'is like I was not enough of a freak already. Oh, don't role your eyes! Even you must admit that this is not natural!" Fisk didn't respond, watching me as gears turned in my head. "T'was… t'was surely my powers that caused this…"
Gods, Michael can be dense. His magic? Has he never noticed that all his magic does is enhance other things?
Besides which, I still can't believe he believed me. I was just annoyed from having to drag that unconscious idiot to a healer and back because he fainted from hunger. If he hadn't been so stubborn about eating the local food, I'd have just told him it was malnutrition rather than snapped something silly like his passing out was due to being pregnant. If he doesn't have the wits to realize that even if he were female that wouldn't be possible with his current activity, I'm amazed he managed his first year without me.
But the fool really believed me! It was too funny to let go, but looking at how panicked he'd grown, I was worried that letting him know it was a joke would get me killed.
"We'll figure it out." I assured him.
"Once it shows, I'll have to hide from others so my freakishness may go undiscovered." Michael moaned.
"The healer knows." I couldn't help but point out.
Michael buried his face in his hands and murmured something about a cliff. Not quite knowing how to respond to that, we just sat there in our room, letting several minutes pass in silence before Michael's stomach growled.
"The inn will be serving supper soon. You're eating for two now."
To my amazement, after a moment of wrestling down his stubbornness, Michael lifted his head and nodded. "T'would be unfair to the child."
He was going to kill me for this, but at least he was eating again. Besides, he'd die of embarrassment, so we'd be even.
STA: Got bored waiting for my bio class to start and wrote this. Maybe if they get a big enough fanbase I'll bury a serious mpreg in it, but for now here's some non-yaoi fluff.
