He really is the love of my life.
We're supposed to be happy.
Surely this isn't what love is supposed to be like.
Things were great.
And then,
He did it again.
How many times am I supposed to forgive you?
How many times am I supposed to look the other way?
How many times until he stops and realises?
"I'm so sorry Hermione it didn't mean anything I swear it, she was just a stupid drunken fling"
"This is the fourth time Draco; I'm a fool to continuously take you back"
How long until he realises he's slowly killing me?
"Who was it Draco?"
"Does it really matter?"
"YES! Of course it matter Draco Malfoy how could it not, have you seen her before"
"Hermione let's not do this, how many times do I have to say sorry baby, I love you and only you that's all that should matter right?"
"No! Especially not when my boyfriend can't keep it in his pants, tell me who it was Malfoy, you owe me that much"
"It doesn't matter who it was all that matters is that you're my girlfriend"
And suddenly the penny drops.
He's not just sleeping around, he's having an affair.
"It was Parkinson again wasn't it."
"Baby come 'on it was just one night, just one stupid mistake."
"I think you should leave Malfoy, and don't come back"
His hand moves to his head, and tears glisten in his eyes.
"Baby please don't do this"
"Funny that's the exact same thing I said to you last night when you walked out, because I knew, just knew you were going to end up in someone else's bed because that's what always happens."
"No its not I love you and I just made a mis-"
"That's what you said the last three times Draco and you didn't even tell me on either of them, I found out and you didn't deny it, just like this time!"
"Baby I didn-"
"Don't call me baby, I'm not your baby and I won't make the same mistake again Draco, please don't hurt me anymore than you already have, I've been dying inside because I know your sleeping around and I'm left wondering why I can't keep you interested for more than two months before your back in Parkinson's bed, admit it Draco there's still lingering feeling for her since school, since she became your secretary"
"I DON'T HAVE FEELINGS FOR HER, I LO-"
"NO YOU DON'T! IF YOU LOVED ME YOU NEVER WOULD HAVE SLEPT WITH ANOTHER WOMEN! IF YOU LOVED ME" take a calming breath Hermione" If you loved me then you would never have had an affair, never would have had a meaningless fuck with some whore, who you've been sleeping with for the past 6 months, I'm sorry Draco but I'm not taking you back this time, I love you, but this time it's just not enough."
"I'm sorry hermi-"
"If you really loved me Draco, somewhere deep inside of your cold heart if you really loved me you listen to me when I ask you to leave because you staying is just hurting me even more"
And then as he walked out the door, he took my heart with him in a cold glass jar where it would stay with him for my heart truly belongs to him and I now have no way to get it back, as even though he's hurt me beyond words can compare, I still love him with every fibre of my being.
