This just struck me one day while I was thinking about God.
Noose thrown out to snare from Satan
Gluttony
Eating more than needed, wasting good food, simply because it doesn't look or smell right not having control over the stomach
Lust
Desiring in heart to fervor, uncontrolled hunger. Lewdness towards others, Wantonness. Not having control of the body.
Greed
Eagerness to posses' material far greater than necessary, seeming to achieve temporary happiness. Not having control over one's mind
Sloth
Reliance on outside temporal forces that control emotion, inability to achieve happiness or passion on own. Not having control of one's heart
Wrath
Excess anger, rage, fury, vindictiveness. Unhealthy more so for the self, extremely not able to exhibit control of one's temper
Pride
Vaunting one's self over others. Self-glorification. Must do one own, self entered a form of egotism. Not able to control willingness
Envy
The desire to posses that witch someone else does. Unable to unharness gratitude.

Specific standers that are placed by self.
Chastity
Dedicating oneself to keep pure or clean
Charity
Giving one's passions to those who need them more.
Diligence
Zeal, passion, perseverance
Patience
Empathy, not flying off the handle, waiting more a greater reward
Humility
giving credit where credit is due, to self and others
Kindness
Benevolence toward others, tolerance
