Happily Ever After
This is my CCOAC submission for the Wedding Bells. I do not own C.M.
It was a lovely day in June. The sun was shining the flowers blooming. The Gazebo was drenched in red, white and pink roses.
David Rossi was sitting with his Best man Aaron Hotchner and his groomsman Spencer Reid. In his hands were three gold wedding bands." I never thought that I would do this for the fourth time. Rossi said as he fingered the wedding bands that he had worn before. I thought that I would be better off by myself."
"Rossi, you can always look upon your pervious marriages as practice for the real one" Reid suggested. Hotch laughed and kissed his lover on the cheek. "Dave, you love Penelope, right? And you can't picture your life without her in it, then look at this as a fresh start as a time to let the past rest in the past. A time to start fresh.
Rossi's cell phone rang before he could respond to either of his friend's advice."WHAT? What do you mean that the Pastor was arrested? What's the charge? Fraud? He wasn't a Pastor at all? Rossi exclaimed."
Rossi hung up 'Oh no, I've have heard of Wedding mishaps, but this is a wedding disaster. The Pastor that was supposed to marry Penelope and I wasn't a pastor but an imposter".
"Hotch; do you know anyone at all that can marry Penelope and me on such short notice?"
"I can do it, said Reid; I have the qualifications to marry people in both Nevada and Virginia including Washington D.C."
"Reid, how did this come about, I am not going to question a miracle, but how? "Rossi asked.
"Last year when I went to Vegas to visit my Mom, Ethan was there and he really wanted for me to perform his wedding ceremony to Jill, so I took the steps for both Nevada and Virginia." Reid explained.
'Would you be willing to perform Penny's and my ceremony? It would mean switching a few things around at the last minute, but Morgan can take your place as groomsman and if it is ok with J.J. and Will and you Hotch Jack and Henry can walk Penelope down the aisle. You would have to clear it with Penny first."
Hotch went off and talked to Will and J.J., Morgan and Penelope. Everyone was in agreement with the last minute changes. An hour later Morgan watched as Henry and Jack walked Penelope to Dave. Reid performed a beautiful and touching ceremony. Rossi placed a simple gold wedding band on his Penelope's finger and in return had one placed on his finger."
The Reception was a party the would never be forgotten by the B.A.U. family. After the first dance as Mr. and Mrs. Rossi to Dean Martin's "Everybody loves somebody." Morgan and Reid dance to "Sexy Back" who knew that Reid had those kinds of moves? Causing everyone to laugh at their antics. It was to the sound of laughter that Dave and Penelope snuck out of their party to begin a month long honeymoon in Italy. And of Course they lived Happily Ever After.
