Broken Promises
'A promise is broken once again, by someone who said they'll be there til the end.
When I lost you that day I knew I would cry, Confused and alone asking myself why?'
The young woman sat as tears surpassed her cheeks. Her golden locks hanging helplessly at her sides. Her blue eyes hidden in deep sorrow. Quistis was in a state of confusion. So loss and out of place. Off in a distant World, not nearing home. How could one person make me feel this way? Why can't I get over him? she asked herself. He had cheated her....cheated her out of love. She remembered every bit of that melancholy moment. How it hurted so bad, how he simply rejected her, as though it were nothing. As though, 'love' never existed.....
'What ever happened to that love, that we once shared, you told me you loved me and said it as though you cared.'
Those days were so close, yet yonder at a distance. Days filled with happiness and days filled with sorrow. But nothing hurted more than the pain that he left her with. The deep agony of lost love haunted Quistis. The day's past and the day's love......
'Didn't you ever just know how it's gonna be, to not be held in your arms, to feel your love for me.'
She brushed away at her blonde hair, taking deep breathes. She pushed herself away from everyone, from the World. From what that hurted most. Quistis sat in the corner as the light from outside shined gently through the opening of the blinds that were pulled shut. Love, what is love? she thought, wiping another tear from her eyes. I loved you......
'Or was that just a phrase that I was going through, telling myself you loved, but again I already knew. That the love you had for me was nothing but fake, and giving my heart to you was my biggest mistake.'
Quistis slowly pulled herself up, ballancing her weight against the gloomy walls of her room. Walking towards the bed, and collapsed on the matress. She layed still, breathing heavily. Vival thoughts, still repeating, slowing its chant in her mind. Quistis leaned over towards the table, where a framed picture sat. The coming of the sun's ray, hitting it slightly. Quistis stared, as she ran her slender fingers across the picture. The letters boldly stood out that were inscripted on the frame.
'I will always love you. -Seifer.' She held it tightly to her chest, as she wiped the last tear from her eyes.
'But I have no regrets, for you are my first true love. Until the day I breathe no more, you are all I'm thinking of.'
-Heheheh......that was a poem that my sister, Sokey wrote for me, I know, I know, it sucked sooo bad. The worse fic you ever read, rite? I'm sorry for all that thought it were more of a love thing. It's too stressing. I just had to write that, for at that moment that's wat I felt. Don't be mad, ok?
