I have been lost in the shadows. I have searched them out to hide from the pain that had overwhelmed me. I had sought out the darkness so I couldn't see your face. I hid amongst the crowd so the sounds your voice would by drown out. I wanted to be forgotten.to forget. I ran trying to escape, but only to find I was still at the same place.
So now here I stand before you. From your light my eyes have been forced open to see your splendor. I can hear because you gently called my name. All that I was before seems but a dream. All that I have become was because you held out your hands to me with faith and trust.
