Title: A simple Poem

"What would happen if I told you here and now that I wasn't normal? Would you ask me why I wasn't normal or would you even care? I am like many people, in many ways. I have a father, I had a mother, two brothers and a few pets.
"I am as normal as I wan't to be, I act normal as I see normal to be. I do however have abnormal abbilities, I may perhaps be able to out speak you, which as you see it isn't normal, Or maybe I can out read you. All these are considered not normal by your and others standerds, but maybe there is something that seems so normal to me that it's scary to you?
"I might be able to lift myself off the ground by just thinking, or maybe I can lift things up that no one else can, or I just might be able to make things very hot to the point of insineration. Does that really make me different from you? Or maybe it just scares you because you cant do it, which could account for the way you run from me when I show the slightest glimps of this power.
"But I go to school, have friends, do homework and do everything you do. Is it really a crime against humanity to be who I am? To try to live, to try to help? Why do people hat other people for the simplest of things, like your race or your genetics? I sometime watch the news and see people like me die by your hands, just because their different. Does that mean you can kill me? Does it mean I don't deserve a chance to watch the people I love to grow with me and learn from what they've done just as I do also?
"You say that I'm different, but in my eye's your different. You arent like me and I see that as being different, but I don't go around killing you because you arent like me. Hate is a terrible thing, some people let it rule their lives while others just oppress it.
"As far as I will tell you, PEACE! Don't kill or hurt or criticize someone because they arent like you, exept them for who they are.
