"Mira-san, you can't do this to me!" Lucy Heartfilia complained to the form-changing mage. Mira smiled mischievously at her.

"And why not, Lucy? I think you're very suited for this." Mira said as she set down Lucy's drink on the counter and picked up a bundle of papers. "Since the yearly festival is coming in Fiore, I think this is something fresh that Fairy Tail can do."

"But Romeo and Juliet? Out of all the plays, why that?" Lucy cried. "I don't want to be Juliet!"

"Oh shush now. Edo-Mira recommended this for me, written by an Edolas playwright, Shakes Pear. It's basically a classic!" Mira feigned a lonely figure as she looked off at a distance. "Did you know how much effort and going against the rules I put up just to get this?"

Lucy looked at her, unamused. "You used Lily to go there and get it."

"Ahaha, you figured me out. But this is a great chance! You can be Juliet while Natsu can be Romeo! Both separated by their families' hatred! It's like fate!"

"How is this play like me and Natsu?!"

Mira shrugged. "Well, you're the daughter of a former very wealthy family while Natsu is the son of the Fire Dragon King, Igneel, so why not?"

"Why not just let Erza and Jellal do the main characters instead?" Lucy offered. "After having Crime Sorciere become an official guild, it's safe."

Mira sweat-dropped as she shook her head. "That won't do. Remember, Erza has an extreme case of stage fright and Jellal messes up whenever a love scene happens between him and her." She continued, "The best bet is you and Natsu. You're best friends and he sleeps in your bed doing this and that~"

"WE DON'T DO THIS AND THAT!" Lucy screeched at her, her cheeks flaring up. With a defeated sigh she slumped in her chair. Mira tilted her head.

"How come you hate this play so much?"

"Cause Juliet, which I will be playing (in which I haven't agreed to yet), dies in the end, that's what!"

"Romeo dies at the end too. Isn't that romantic?"

"What's romantic?" A voice piped up behind Lucy. She turned around and brightened up.

"Natsu!"

"What are you two talking about?" He asked as he sat down beside his partner. Lucy began explaining to him about how Mira wanted to let Fairy Tail do a play. Natsu frowned. "Romeo and Juliet? Is that the play where Romeo dies then Juliet dies?"

Mira nodded enthusiastically. "Yup! I was planning on you being Romeo and Lucy being Juliet!"

"So Lucy's gonna die with me?" Natsu asked.

Mira shrugged. "Well, that's one way to look at it I guess."

"That's not romantic! It shouldn't end like that!" Natsu declared. Lucy agreed while Mira was taken aback.

"Well then, how do you want it to end?" Asked Mira.

"They should have a happily ever after!" The dragon slayer said. Lucy blinked and whipped her head towards Natsu.

"Wait, what?! No! Can't we just do another play? Like, you know, something less romantic?" Lucy suggested.

Mira scribbled down something on a piece of paper. She looked at Natsu. "So if we go with a happily ever after, will you do the play?"

Lucy sighed. "You are really not listening to me…"

"I'd totally do it!" Natsu said, grinning widely.

"Very well, condition accepted!" Mira stuck out her hand and she and Natsu shook hands on it.

Natsu turned towards Lucy's exhausted figure and laughed. "Isn't this great Lucy? Fairy Tail is going to do a play!"

"This going to be a total disaster…" Lucy groaned.
