Mollzy here. This is a little one-shot rewrite of the "Empty Places scene" It always bothered me that Buffy just let them use her when they needed her so here you go. (not that I didn't like the rest of season 7 .
Buffy couldn't believe it. 7 years she'd given to these people, and now after one mistake the take Faith, the serial killer as their leader?
"I think you should know that this is it. If I leave now, I'm not going to come back with hugs and welcome back's as soon as she makes a mistake. If I go now, I'm not coming back. This is goodbye."
"Buffy, we just think we need a new perspective if-" Xander tried to cut in.
"Good luck." And with that, she left.
