This is my first time posting a story. I've been writing stories all the time, but I never ever have published them. So critiques are fine but please no "oh this is totes different then the real story" cause I'm going to change things a lot. Or like "this totally sucks DIE!" ok please, I love you guys hope you enjoy this story.

Introduction:

Aqua is my name. Aqua Jackson and I am like 12, my birthday is like in a week or something. Don't ask me how I don't know, my parents hate me. I have a huge family. We all live in a huge apartment, with only my family in it. And so I have to be the maid in this home. Jeez, I hate my life. Well my life changed when I find out where I'm suppose to be.

Chapter 1

Aqua POV

So here is my daily routine. Wake up, change, brush teeth and hair, prepare breakfast, pack up my family's backpack, wake them up, watch them eat, clean the dishes, then cook something for me to eat, and by then it should be 8:00 if not I can't eat dinner. And guess what? That is only my morning routine! Then I would just clean clothes, which are a lot, and then go to school. And if I'm not at school by then I can't be at the swimming pool. Oh and let me guess, weird, well I love being in the water so that is really hard for me to not be in some water. Ok well at school and everyone treats me like junk, even the adults. I would think every day that things can't get worse. Until my birthday.

"Aqua Jackson, please report to the office. You have a visitor." The office person said. I sighed while the class was giggling. I walked out of class and slowly walked to the office. Tomorrow was my birthday, I believe. I'll turn 13, yet I doubt anyone will be happy. I took a deep breath and knew that my dad was gonna yell at me, he hates me the most. But instead I found a guy like 17 years old and the scariest part he looks exactly like me. Same sea-green eyes and black hair.

"Hey" He said.

"What do you want?" I'm not exactly the warm type after all I've been through.

"Can I talk with her, alone?" He asked the office person. She left without a word. "Ok my name is Percy Jackson and who are you?" He said.

"Now why do I need to say so?" I replied. Percy just glared at me. I sighed "Aqua Jackson."

"Ok." Percy said. "So when is your birthday?"

"And why do I… oh whatever. My birthday is tomorrow aka April 5th. I'm going to turn 13"

"Okay don't freak out but, I'm your cousin" Percy said.

I was freaking out. All my life I was stuck in jail, excuse me home, and here this comes up to me and says that I have another family somewhere out in the woods.

"Okay well why are you here again?" Aqua asked.

Percy shrugged. "I go to this school."

Now Aqua was pretty sure this was a lie. If he was a student at this school, she would've known because of how alike they look.

"Okay well…" Aqua started. Then the bell rang for lunch.

"Well we gotta eat now am I right?"

"I guess" Aqua shrugged.

"Come on" he sat up and walked out of the office and into the hallway.

"You still owe me an explanation of us being related."

"Yeah whatever."

Aqua sighed. Well at least life may be better right? WRONG!
