AN - I know it's only short, but usually for me the shortest stuff I write is the best. Hope you enjoy

The wind whistled through her ears and blew her already messy blonde hair across her face. The sound of the waves crashing ashore crept slowly towards her as the tide came in. Yet she still stood there, cold and alone, oblivious to the world around her. This place wasn't even her world; it wasn't the world that held all of her memories, memories of her childhood, memories of him. Memories that's all they were now. The chance to make new ones was lost to her. He was lost to her, gone forever.

So she stood there and she waited, just waited. What she was waiting for exactly she wasn't really sure. A miracle. To wake from a dream to realise it was just a nightmare. Her heart was sure, sure of why she waited. She was waiting for him. She glanced at her watch 5 hours she had been waiting already, 5 and a half hours he'd said, you should always wait 5 and a half hours. So here she was following that advice, his advice.

A lone tear slowly made its path down her cheek as thoughts of him bombarded her mind. Of all the times she was so sure that she had lost him for good, only for them to be reunited once again. Even the devil himself couldn't keep them apart. She remembered the last time she thought he was gone. She was left all on her own in a street in the year 2012, she was left to save the world all on her own, but she did it and she was reunited with him once again, the last and the final time that would happen.

She wondered if he felt as lonely as she did at this moment in time. She had promised him so many things, so many promises. Most of all she had promised him forever. They were never meant to be alone again because they had each other. Yet here she was. Alone. Alone on some god forsaken beach in Norway. Bloody Norway of all places. So far from home, so very far. She had promised him forever and she intended to keep that promise. He had always told her that he liked the impossible, well so did she. There had to be a way that she could go back, back to her world, back to him. She promised forever and she meant it, even if it took her forever to find a way because she will, she'll do it even if it takes her till the end of time, she'll find a way back to him. She had too. She just had too.

Even though it may sound crazy but it's the word impossible that gives her hope and determination. Hope that one day their paths will meet again. Hope that once again she will travel, travel through

time and space, with him, the lonely angel. The man that stole her heart. Her forever, forever her doctor.
