Another Kipper rewrite, the time it's the episode "The Goldfish" Enjoy and comment.

One cloudy day, Kipper the Dog was watching soccer on television. He was finding it very boring to sit through the whole match without getting up.

"What a boring day!" said Kipper. "I wonder if Tiger is home?"

He soon went off to Tiger's house. But on his way, he noticed a goldfish in a puddle.

"Hello! How did you get in there?"

Kipper looked up to see if there were any rain clouds, but saw none.

"You can't stay there, so you'll have to come home with me. But first, let's see if my friend Tiger is home.

Quickly, Kipper ran over to Tiger's house. He knocked on the door.

"Hello Kipper!" said Tiger. "Please come in!"

Kipper entered the house.

"I'm going to the beach for holiday!" he exclaimed.

"That's great, but look what I found!" said Kipper

"Very nice Kipper. Now, where are my swimming trunks?"

Kipper then noticed a bucket, so he filled it with water.

"What are you doing Kipper?"

"Look! It's a goldfish! I found it in a puddle!"

"You'll need to find somewhere else to place the goldfish. I need that bucket for the beach."

Kipper then noticed Tiger's goldfish bowl.

"Can I use your goldfish bowl? It will be perfect!"

"It's pretty full at the moment." said Tiger.

"But there's only just a little goldfish in there. Can't they share a bowl?"

"I'm not sure that would be a good idea. Your goldfish is bigger than my tadpole. He might eat him."

"Don't you know what a tadpole is?"

"Yes I do, but here's a plastic bag. You can carry him in this 'till you get home."

Soon it was time for Tiger to leave for the airport.

"Have a great holiday!" exclaimed Kipper to his friend. "Make sure to send me a card!"

"Sure thing Kipper!" yelled Tiger.

"Alright then goldfish, let's find your proper home!"

When they arrived back at Kipper's house, Kipper went to find something to place the goldfish in.

"How about this jelly jar?"

Kipper ate the rest of the strawberry jelly that was in the jar, rinsed it out, placed clean water in it, then placed the goldfish in the jar.

A few days later, Kipper received a letter and photograph from Tiger, all the way from Miami. The letter read.

Dear Kipper.

Hope everything is going well with your goldfish at home. I am having a great holiday in sunny Florida, spending time at the beach, but I can't wait to come home and see all my friends again.

Kind regards

Tiger.

"What a great letter!"

He then went to check on the goldfish.

"You don't look very happy in there. Where can I place you?"

He looked around again.

"How about an ice-cream tub!"

The fish wasn't too happy in the ice-cream tub.

"You want to swim round and round. How about the bathtub!"

The fish felt very happy in the bathtub, but not for long.

"Why don't we try the pond?"

They soon arrived at the pond. The fish was so excited to see water, that he jumped right in!

"Bye bye!" said Kipper.

A couple of days later, Kipper went to greet Tiger at the airport.

"Hello Tiger! How was your holiday!"

"It was wonderful! How is your fish doing?"

"I just let him back into the pond where he belongs.

When they arrived back at Tiger's house, they found a surprise. The tadpole was missing!"

"How could this have happened?"

"A tadpole isn't a fish, it's a baby frog!"

Tiger laughed and fell to the ground, and so did Kipper!
