Albus dropped his books on the table with a bang and slid into his chair at the library before anybody could scold him for being too loud.
"What hasn't happened is actually the better question."
"What hasn't happened?"
"Where do I even get started?"
"From the beginning, of course," Scorpius said with a smile that was half encouraging, half terrified.
"Oh, it's such a long story," Albus sighed. "I'm afraid it'll take forever to tell you."
"I'll be here all evening," Scorpius responded, trying to keep his tone neutral and to not slide into a dirty joke, per usual.
"I haven't got the time. This problem has put, like, a billion new things on my to-do list."
