Booth and Brennan left their children with Hodgins and Angela while they went on vacation for their anniversary. They were supposed to be gone for two weeks.

On the third day, a saturday, Christine woke up with a horrendous stomachache and hadn't moved from her position on the bed.

A little later Angela comes to the room

"Sweetie c'mon we're having pancakes"

"I'm not hungry Aunt Angela, I'm gonna stay here, okay?"

"Okay Honey, but if you need anything come downstairs" Said Angela, seeing that her niece wasn't acting like her cheerful self.

A couple of minutes later, Christine feels nature calling and goes to the bathroom, when she pulls down her pants, there's blood in her panties. She stood there wide-eyed and screamed:

"AUNT ANGELA!"

Angela, who was fliping a pancake in the pan, hears her niece scream, drops everything and goes running upstairs.

She tries to open the bathroom door but it's locked.

"Sweetie, what's wrong? Open the door please"

"Aunt, can you call my mom?" Her voice sounded muffled by the door.

"Christine, is four A.M. in Greece, she's probably sleeping" Said Angela "Can i come in?"

Angela heard the lock turn and anxiously opened the door.

She found Christine with a towel secured at her waist and her pijama bottoms on the floor, covered with what she suspected was blood.

Christine launched herself at her aunt's arms and started sobbing.

"Wh-What's happ-pening t-to me? Am I dyi-ing?"

"Sweetie you're not dying, let's see okay? C'mon" She picked the clothes up and sat Christine on the toilet.

"It seems like you got your period"

"My wh-what?"

"Your period, Honey. It means that you can get pregnant and have babies now"

Angela tried to leave but Christine stopped her.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm going to get some stuff and we'll have a little talk, okay?"

"Okay" She sniffled.

Angela went to get a pad and a pair of underwear for Christine, a couple of minutes later, she was back.

"Listen Sweetie" She said, handing her the stuff she brought "I need you to put this on, do you need help?"

"N-no I think I'll be fine"

"I'll be waiting outside"

With that, she left and Christine started to work.

When she was done, Angela was waiting for her sitting at the edge of the bed.

"How are you feeling?"

"I want my mommy" she started to cry again and Angela recived her in her arms.

"I know, Christine. Shh...You'll be okay, I'm here"

Angela leaned back holding her niece while she cried.

Five minutes later, Christine complained "Aunt Angela, my stomach really hurts"

"Those are cramps, Honey. Let me bring you something for them" She went to her room and looked for the heat pack that she kept for this time of the month.

She handed the pack to Christine, who put it in her stomach and relaxed immediatly.

Angela turned to leave but her niece grabbed her hand "Can you hold me again?"

"Of course, Sweetie. Scoot over"

She did as told and her Aunt hugged her while keeping the heat pack in place.

They both fell asleep shortly after.
