If there was anything Percy would give his life for, it was his mother. Unlike most people during their teen years, Percy never got mad at his mother. The two loved each other so much. For some years they only had each other. Percy would do anything for his mother, even hold up the sky for her and that was something he did not want to do again. In his relationship with his mom there was no resent, anger of sadness; only love, care, and happiness. Percy knows he's not an easy guy to put up with but his mother would rather put up with it then lose him. Percy always felt grateful to have a mother.

Annabeth wasn't always so sure how she felt toward her mom. Were there feelings of anger and resentment? Yes there was. Annabeth knew that Athena wasn't allowed to show her all this love and affection, but she always thought couldn't she write a letter every once and a while? Being a daughter of Athena is hard. Always having to be the smartest; knowing the answer to every question. Let's not forget building only the best monuments too. Annabeth wondered if Athena was ever proud of her. Annabeth was proud to be a daughter of Athena. Annabeth didn't just feel resent though. Annabeth loved her mom and was very gratifying toward Athena. Athena had guided her towards Luke and Thalia, gave her an invisible hat, and a home; Camp Half Blood. Athena has done so much for Annabeth. In some all those confusing mixed up feelings, Annabeth really did love her mom. Annabeth always felt lucky her mom paid so much attention.

Thalia and her mom had the rockiest relationship of all. There were so many complications they had. Sure there were the good times when she was little; like going out to get ice cream, going to movie premieres, and the hugs her mother gave her. Then she got older and grew to resent her mother. She didn't know when the drinking problem started but it drove her away. Thalia was sure her mother no longer loved her. Thalia even thought she didn't love her anymore. If this was so she couldn't understand why she felt so guilty about her death. Thalia knew that she missed her mother too much. She wanted to go back and tell her mom she was sorry for running away. There were too many what ifs in Thalia's life, why did her mom have to be one? Thalia always felt guilt when it came to her mom.

Nico always wanted to meet his mom. He had that empty hole in his heart that was supposed to be filled with love. Nico always hoped that from that one vision he summoned in Hades that his mom always wanted what was best for him. He knew his mom wanted them safe and to be a family together. That's all he knows about his mom and he yearns to know more. Nico misses his mother. He's not so sure if he can say he loves her but if he talked to her he knew he would find love. When it came to his mother Nico always felt hopeful.

Luke didn't believe he ever had a mother. There must have been a mistake. Somehow he must have just appeared or something along those lines. There was no way in Hades that the poor excuse of a woman that lived in the same house as him was his mom. Is that what he deserved? A woman who gave up her son and lover just so she could be called to her "destiny"? Luke always saw his mom as selfish person. Was he any better? She gave up her life to attempt to be the oracle. She gave up Luke and his dad for herself. Luke hoped she would die and rot in the Field of Asphodel. Though he always had some sort of memory of a smiling woman holding him as a baby, it always made him feel giddy. That was his mom not the crazy lady. Luke always felt wretched when it came to his mom.
