A/N: please read and review! the song is "Circle" by Slipknot. for thos of you who don't know, this is one of the few non-screaming, not that hard on guitar songs they have done. so i hope you like it! it takes place after Tara has died and Willow has killed Warren.

Circle

Willow crawled into bed wearily. It had felt empty ever since Tara had died. She had gotten her revenge on Warren, but that didn't change the fact that Tara was gone. She started to cry herself to sleep like she had done every night since Tara ha vanished from her sleep.....

Give me the dust of my fathers

Stand on the face of the Ancients

Bare the secret flesh of time itself

She began to dream.... She found herself in a clearing. The trees on the edge were so dark and tall she couldn't see the sky above them. Only when she walked into the middle of the circle of light that was the clearing, did she see the bright blue sky and fiery sun.

"Hello, Willow," a soft gentle familiar voice said from behind her.

Follow me...I've come so far, I'm behind again

Follow me...I wish so hard, I'm there again

Follow me

She whipped around to see none other than her beloved Tara. "Tara!"

"Willow, you must help me complete the dance," Tara said smiling, beckoning Willow towards her.

"Dance?" Willow looked confused.

"The Dance of the Circle," Tara replied.

All that I wanted were things I had before

All that I needed, I never needed more

All of my questions are answers to my sins

And all of my endings are waiting to begin

So they began a joyful dance fit for wood nymphs and fairies not to mention dryads and elves, dancing around and around in the circle of light.

Suddenly Willow realized that they were now dressed in flowing white dresses with long bell sleeves and had wreaths of flowers in their hair. They were barefoot and each had a unique necklace on. Willow's pendant was a celestial sun and Tara had the partner celestial moon around her neck.

I know the way, but I falter

I can't be afraid of my patience

There's a secret place Razel keeps safe

Willow had a strange weightless feeling come over her as she continued to dance. She looked down to realize that they were dancing on air.

Follow me...I've seen so much, I'm blind again

Follow me...I feel so bad, I'm alive again

Follow me...

They continued the dance until they were dancing among the fluffy clouds and warm sun. They danced together until twilight, when the sun and moon, stars and clouds were in the sky. Willow began to realize that as the sun was setting she was also coming down from her high perch, while Tara rose higher and higher with the moon. She looked up to see Tara, dancing among the stars. "Tara!" she called out as her dead girlfriend threw her head back and stretched her arms. She had become as luminous as the moon. In fact, she had taken the place of the moon and looked like a goddess, floating among the stars.

"Willow, it is my time, my time as a mortal has long been over, but you, you must move on, for your dance is not yet over," Tara's voice seemed to be in the wind.

"My dance?" Willow asked.

"Your dance of life," Tara replied as she disappeared into heavens in a flash of light.

"Tara!" Willow screamed hoping her lost love would reappear.

All that I wanted were things I had before

All that I needed I never needed more

All of my questions are answers to my sins

And all of my endings are waiting to begin

Willow was falling down, back down to the clearing at an alarming rate. Just as she was about to hit the ground, she sat straight up in a cold sweat, gasping for air. She wiped the sweat off her face and looked around quickly. Tara was okay, she thought frantically. In order to make Tara happy, I have to move on and let go. She shall not be ignored.
