Hey guys, this is my first story so don't be too hard on me. Please review.
Liam woke up to the dank smell of urine and rotten flesh. He sat up on the cold, hard floor and looked around. He was in a small dark stone cell and on the other side of the room there was a human skeleton shackled to the wall. He didn't remember how he got there, all he could remember was a sharp pain in the back of head. Liam raised his hand to the back of his head and was surprised. It was sticky. When he brought his hand back around again his fingers were red. His head was bleeding. Just then he heard voices and footsteps coming from outside his cell and then the cell door opened.
Liam stood before a crowd of people wearing lab coats. He was standing on a podium with a noose around his neck. "You stand before us today to be executed due to horrible crime of being an Assassin." Assassin? he thought. The man speaking turned to the crowd of people and exclaimed, "This man is part of the organisation that have been relentlessly murdering our brethren for hundreds of years without mercy. This man deserved to die." The crowd screamed, "YEAH!". The man walked over to the lever on the wall that would release the floor underneath him and then there was a crash.
