Being thirteen and a half sucks.
Jenna knew this better than anybody, Felix had started developing his earth powers already, Isaac and Garet had already shown signs of their psynergy, but she would have to wait at least four to five months to even start to show psynergetic powers, funny thing is most of the children play with their psynergetic powers (if you can call tiny fireballs and hurling little pebbles that), and if you don't have psynergy yet you are technically left in isolation with the little kids until you get them, good thing Jenna has her great friends Isaac and Garet that would never do something so rude to her.
"Errmm it's you Jenna!" said Garet strangely surprised
They wouldn't
"Why are you hiding?" said a confused Jenna
Right?
"It's just that… you know…" said Isaac ashamed
"I know what?"
"That… that the big kids will not talk to us if we play with you until you get your psynergy, there I said it" said Garet hastily

What did they say?
Is that what she just heard the exact thing they were thinking?
Oh hell no
In any other day Jenna would have taken the situation a little bit more calmly and would just have kicked their asses before going home.
But not today; she was tired, she had a crappy week, Felix had been teasing her for her ultra-bad luck because her body decided that it was time to start becoming a woman. Yeah that time of the month had started coming and it was coming with all its might, she just wanted to hang out for a while with her best buddies then go to her house and practically die, but noooooo they had to reject her because she didn't have psynergy yet.
They glare she shot their way told it all "you better start digging your graves"
First she grabbed Garet by the shirt, the one who said those things had to be punished first "you think I'm weaker than you because I don't have psynergy yet?" she proceeded to fling Garet out of the way with a surprising power for a thirteen year old girl, but well this is Jenna where talking about "and don't you think you can scape" flung a small blast of fire to the path that Isaac was going to use for his retreat…
Time seemed to stay still as a ball of hay rolled by…
"Jenna did you just make that yourself?" said a impressed Isaac
"That was awesome! I knew you had it in you" said Garet trying to get in Jenna's good side again
But Jenna had just a thought on her head 'this is not 14 year old psynergy abilities… this is Felix age kind of ability' she tried hurling another one to be sure that it was not a stroke of luck and success greeted her again, so she thought it was time to have a little fun with them
"Bye losers! Talk to me when you can use a decent psynergy!" she said as she hurried to where Felix and his friends were
Two days later
Everybody in Felix group was talking about the little prodigy Jenna, the flare girl who was able to use a full flare just being thirteen years old!
Behind a bush to kids where watching the scene closely
"Man being fourteen sucks!" said Garet annoyed
"You can say that again!" said Isaac
