Chapter 1
"Sasha go to bed," my mother called.
"After this chapter mom!" I was reading warriors one of my favorite books. I put my book down and got in bed. Soon I fell asleep. I woke up in to the sound of birds. I shot up fast and looked around I was sleeping in moss and there were cats around me. I walked outside where I found a puddle. I looked into the puddle and saw a beautiful she cat, she was black with white paws and the tip of her tail was white. Her eyes were purple and I soon realized that the cat in the puddle was me! I turned around because I heard a rustle and I saw a cat coming out of the den I came from. Suddenly I knew I was an apprentice. The cat looked at me; I sniffed and knew he was a tom.
"Scarletpaw", the tom said while looking at me.
"Y-yes," I said shifting my paws so I could get a better look at him. He was a young tom. He had black fur and one white paw; I realized he was waiting for something.
"Umm, Scarletpaw you're kind of in my way," he said while looking relaxed.
"Oh sorry," I replied. I moved to the side and he walked away. I saw a light gray she cat coming towards me.
"Scarletpaw, we'll be training now," she said. She padded through the fern tunnel I kept looking until I couldn't see her anymore. I padded slowly to the fern tunnel and walked into the forest. I smelled a lot of prey and my mouth started to water, but I decided to follow the she cat's scent to the training hollow. When I got there I saw her looking at the sand on the ground, she looked up and said to attack her, so I did after a brief struggle I pinned her down with sheathed paws so I didn't hurt her. After that I learned that her name was Dawnfur and the tom I met was named Coalpaw.
