Title: His Little Girl

Summary: an artifact at a traveling faire turns Claudia into a toddler. Pete and Myka are on the hunt for the artifact which leaves Artie and Vanessa to take care of the toddler.
Author's note: this is established Pete/Myka and Artie/Vanessa. also this fic is AU and disregards the mid season finale.
"What!" Artie exclaimed looking at his young agent.
Pete Lattimer squirmed slightly under his boss's glaring gaze.
"Well, uh, she touched something in the show. I dunno what the guy did."
Artie sighed; this is just what he needed.
"Listen Artie, we can't take care of a baby Claudia while hunting down the artifact…"
Artie nodded. "No, it's to dangerous to have a four year old with you."
Myka moved Pete out of the way so she could talk to Artie. "I can be on a plane and at the Warehouse tomorrow."
It was then that Artie caught a glimpse a the child Myka held in her arms. Little Claudia kept trying to see what the adults were looking at. Artie shook his head. "No, I'll come and pick her up." he stopped when the door leading to the Warehouse's umbilicus opened. "pick who up?" Dr. Vanessa Calder; now Nielsen, asked as she came to stand behind her husband and placed a kiss on his cheek.
Artie smiled, they had been married for almost two years now. The Warehouse supervisor adored his wife and he thought she fit in perfectly to their little family.
"Claudia, she was affected by an artifact and turned into a toddler. She's ok from what Pete and Myka tell me." He quickly added and the concerned look on Vanessa's face.
"I'll go with you to pick her up." the blonde woman replied.
Artie nodded, he knew how much Vanessa had come to care for the team since she married Artie; she could be quite a mother bear to the agents if anything or anyone threatened them.
Myka nodded. "Ok, we'll meet you two at the airport and then go looking for the artifact."
