She blocked it all out, all of the voices leaving painful memories of the past; of what happened four months ago. She hasn't left since; and that was probably the worst thing she has ever done to stay where all of her home, their home, had him written all over it.
The other night, dear,
As I lay sleeping
The memories had haunted her all through out her nights; as she lay in their bed. She would lay there, her hair spread out under her head, eyes deprived of any emotions except for sorrow as she cried her self to sleep every night.
I dreamed I held you in my arms.
When I awoke, dear,
It had happen last night, when she dreamt of him. She dreamt of the warmth that always embraced her being when she awoke. She dreamt of his warm onyx eyes smiling down at her, his lips forming a smile. She dreamt of the warmth that his lips gave her when he pressed them against hers in a loving, caring way. But when she woke up;
I was mistaken
And I hung my head and cried.
He was nothing more then a whisper in the wind, a hallucination, nothing more then dust. That's why she had to do this she had to see her light again, her sunshine. That's why when she laid in her tub with a knife to her wrist; all of it was because he was her sunshine. As she ran the knife against her wrist she saw nothing, nothing but the dark. She ignored the pain that soared up her arm and throughout her whole being, as she cut her vain. She looked up towards the ceiling, ignoring the blood that spilled out of her wrist, her nose just an inch above the water, her wrist above the water hanging on the rim of the tub; she could've sworn that she had seen a light.
You are my sunshine,
My only sunshine.
As the light got brighter, her body felt lighter, her soul free. It was the first time in her life that she felt free, that she was back in his arms. When she looked into the bright light she saw a silhouette in the light. The first time she had seen him in four months, his warm smile his strong arms open for her. She smiled as she reached up for him; she smiled even brighter when she felt his arms around her waist, pulling her close into his chest. She smiled warmly when he floated upwards with her; when he and she floated up into the eternal happiness, the eternal light.
Now i feel depressed... -.-. i'm deffinitly going to make a happier ending so watch out for the second chappter for 'loosing sunshine'
ja-ne!
