"Why or why did this have to happen?" Agent Lang complained over the phone to his assistant.
"Well I'm sorry Agent Lang," a woman said. "But the piece of evidence we need is at the prosecutor's office."
"Well I'm still sending one of my men in," Lang said. "If I have to park there I'm still not going in, Shina."
"Ok, It's your decision," Shina said before she hung up.
Agent Lang parked in the lot and sent one of his 99 men to retrieve the evidence. 'I'm not going in,' he thought. This lasted until he had to go to the bathroom. 'Dammit. Fine I'll go in but only for a minute.'
He grumbled as he went into the building. He went straight for the bathroom. When he came out he was shocked at what he saw.
"Well I guess its time to go back huh?" a blue-headed woman said carrying a suitcase in her hands.
"We stayed for the trial, the after dinner," another prosecutor carrying a similar suitcase.
"Yeah that wasn't very good," the woman said.
"We also stayed for the memorial and the funeral," the man finished. "I'm sure Wright and his crew will be fine. But now I have to get back to my studies and you have to get back to Germany." The hugged and left out the door. They went in separate cars and in separate directions.
"Woah," Lang said. He never saw a prosecutor look that young before.
"Um Shifu?" someone said. Lang turned his head.
"Well come on lets back to HQ," Lang barked as if he only came in for the subordinate. The man nodded as they went to the airport. When Lang got there he noticed he was an hour early.
'Man I think that I need an assistant more than I realized,' he laughed to himself. He went to one of the airport's café's and had an early lunch.
"Excuse me but can I borrow this seat?" someone asked. Lang looked up to see the same woman from the prosecutor's office.
"Uh sure," Lang said handing the seat to her. She took it and sat down. A few minutes passed in silence. "So you're a prosecutor?" The woman looked up from her coffee.
"Yeah," she said. "Been that way for a while now."
"You got a name?" Lang asked.
"Franziska," she said. "Franziska von Karma."
"Oh," Lang said not really paying attention. "Wait VON KARMA!"
"Please don't make a big deal," Franziska said. "I really don't want to talk about my father."
'Way to pick them, Lang!' Lang yelled at himself.
"Well what's your name?" Franziska asked.
"Agent Shi-Long Lang," Lang introduced.
"Like Interpol?" Franziska asked clearly impressed. Lang nodded. "Wow! That's really impressive."
"Well it's one of the roughest jobs of the planet," Lang admitted not knowing why he was still talking.
"Now boarding, International Flight 97 to Germany, departure gate 9"
"That's my flight," Franziska and Lang said getting up before realizing what they said.
"Oh you're going to Germany?" Franziska inquired.
"I'm just transferring flight at Germany," Lang said walking Franziska to the gateway and into the plane.
On the plane they talked a lot until they wore each other out. Franziska woke up after a couple of hours realizing that it was almost time to get off the plane.
"Agent Lang," Franziska said shaking Lang awake. He grumbled but woke up.
"Shina wake up the 99 men for me," he mumbled.
"Hey, is Shina your co-worker or something?" Franziska mocked. Lang laughed when he was awake.
"A) Yes and B) very funny," Lang said stretching. The plane landed swiftly and the passengers got off and went to retrieve their bags.
"Well good luck with this smuggling ring," Franziska whispered leaving.
"Wait!" Lang shouted abruptly. Franziska turned. "We could use another hand at HQ if your interested. You get to whip people." Franziska seemed to be in thought for a while.
"Ok Agent Lang," Franziska said being led by Lang to the next flight.
