I have to find it…

But even as it does you won't stop looking for where that person hides,

Carry on with your life long quest,

Stick your heart back together every time you're wrong,

Carry on because you know your heart is strong.

You gasp as someone catches your gaze,

Your heart beams in the hope of happiness,

Your heart hoping they won't leave your life a mess,

You give them everything in your world,

And hope they will only return,

And when they don't you feel your heart again burn.

Who do you turn to when that person is gone?

How about that friend who's always been there,

The one who's promised they'll always care,

They wrap you up in their arms,

And whisper comfort into your ear,

And you smile knowing that with them you have nothing to fear.

What do you do when they lift up your chin?

When they look deeply into your tear filled eyes,

What happens when you see love of the rarest kind?

The type of love that's grown over time,

The type that's seen you through it all,

Yes the love that's always been there to catch you if you fall,

Then you realize you've been looking for something you always had after all.

Hmm…I'm leaning towards Starfire…but I always lean toward Star :P
