Suspension of faith
Part I
Never ask why our only dream
doesn't come true
the answer, will pierce your life like a thorn
when the images of fantasy look so naive
don't cry, close your eyes and believe.
Love's promise can seem distant
like a cloud
Now and then you come to me like the sun,
always wanting to say something,
a meaning our hearts have missed
I need to overcome the silence,
to be by your side and cut through your fears.
I believe in you,
while the shadows are growing
and time escapes
Despite the distance
of our strangely connected worlds,
grasp your courage, strengthen your soul
one day, all the barriers shall fall.
I always hope you will understand
my touch is not a lie, the truth that blossoms in our embrace
They cannot stop it, nor expect me to forget
my boundless determination, my life's real purpose-
To love you and protect you!
