"Would you like me to take your trash before we land?" the stewardess asked politely. One, Simon Lewis, took out his headphone from his ear. After studying the stewardess for a second, he gave a bright smile to the young lady,
"I don't actually have anything to throw away. Sorry" he replied, giving a shrug. The stewardess nodded and went on to the next row of seats. Simon replaced the headphone in his ear and looked out the window again. It would be nice to get back to New York. He was excited to see everyone again. His little trip had been fun, but Brooklyn was his home.
Simon stepped off the plane and stretched out, trying to get rid of the stiffness acquired from such a long plane flight. He looked at all the families sitting with each other and talking. He concentrated, looking at each person. Looking at each face. Simon turned back to the tarmac and looked to see where the next flight was headed- out of curiosity. "Back to London" he mused. So it was a commuter flight. Taking one last look at the people, Simon readjusted his backpack and went on to the baggage claim. Casually walking along he smiled at the people who met his eye. Simon couldn't help but feel like a bit of a creeper, but he couldn't help it. After the things that happened, awkwardly staring at people had become a bit of a habit of his. A bad habit, seeing as it creeped people out rather easily, but Simon couldn't help it.
Finally he made it to baggage claim. The unclaimed luggage went round and round on the moving belt. Simon spotted his duffel bag amongst the much grander suitcases that were slowly coming toward him. A blur of long, dark brown hair rushed past him, earning a gasp. He walked up to where his duffel bag was, eyeing the girl from the corner of his eye. She turned towards him, her bright green eyes shining as she pulled her suitcase behind her. Simon let out a small sigh and picked up his bag, slinging it onto his shoulder.
