Chapter 1: The challenge
It was another Monday morning here in peach creek high school. The floors were clean, most of the students were still tired and the coffee was brewing in the teachers lounge. The trio known as the eds was doing what they always did since freshman year, just talking at the corner of the hall. Only they mainly hear eddy's new crazy plan to scam the kids. As always they never worked. "Ok eds, here's the plan to scam those freshman suckers. We're going to need a box, a mirror, a lio-" Eddy was interrupted by Edds voice of reason. "Excuse me eddy, but before you continue yammering on about this 'scam' of yours may I remind you that it is March and we only have a month until exams and then its graduation." Edd said with a smile at the end of the sentence while imagining graduation day.
The two other Edds looked at each other then to the brains of the group with a confused look. Within that moment Eddy got a realization look on his face and wrapped his limp arms around the other Eds necks to bring them closer to his face. As he looked both ways to make sure no one else is near them, he began to speak with a whisper. "What sock head just said made me got a great idea." With a doubtful look on his face Edd said "Is this another scam eddy?" "No sock head!" "Is it buttered toast Eddy?" asked Ed in a excited voice. "No mono-brow! This is about making history here in this school." "Exactly what type of history Eddy?" Edd said in a questioning voice. With a smirk Eddy replied with a smiling pride "The type of history that will make us legends at this school!" after saying this he quickly did a stance like a superhero on the cover of a magazine and stayed that way.
While smiling in his own pride, Edd broke his moment with a question, "And how exactly would this be done Eddy?" before he could answer Ed had interrupted him with "Oh! Are we going to raise a chicken farm and turn them to our lovable army!" Ed had said while hugging himself. Eddy then slapped Ed on the back of his head and said in a hush voice "No lumpy! Now be quiet,we cant let anyone steal our idea." Eddy then looked around again to make sure no one was around. Once he was done looking around he said "Ok boys, now what I was about to say is that this plan shall make us legends. We'll be the most known students for the rest of our lives!" during his bantering Edd was getting a little irritated with Eddys small-minded babbling so he tapped on Eddys shoulder to interrupt him. "Pardon me Eddy but how in the world do we become, as you quote 'legends at this school'." Eddy cleared his throat and said "The way we're going to become the legends of the school is by pranking the entire school!"
The moment Eddy said his plan Edds face drained of his color. Beads of sweat appeared on his forehead and in a shocked and anxious voice spoke "Eddy, are you aware of the consequences if the school staff finds out, or even our own parents! I shall not be involve in this 'plan' of yours and further mor-" Edd was then hushed by Eddys hand. Eddy then looked around for the third time for any other people around. The coast was clear so he began to talk. "Zip it sock head! We don't need the whole world to know our plan!" "Can we let the birds know Eddy?" Ed asked in his questioning voice. "Not even the birds could know Ed! Now if you two would just shut up, I can tell you why pranking the whole school will make us legends." Eddy cleared his throat then began speaking "You see, my big bro told me how when he did his senior prank, his name was known all around the school. All the chicks wanted him and his name still lives on at this school. Senior pranks are always the coolest thing anyone can do. If we can out prank what my bro did we'll be the most known people around the school for years to come!"
During his speech he is unaware that someone was listening to the whole thing. The person who was listening is a red head with a passion to his bike. The red heads name is Kevin. He was about to get a drink from the water fountain when he heard eddy's speech. Kevin stayed as quiet as possible to listen to there plan. "The prank will be done before graduation so everyone will get the surprise of their lives. Those suckers will never see it coming" Eddy said with a sneaky laugh to end it. After saying that last line Kevin then walked up behind eddy and smacked him on the back of his head and when eddy turned around ready to shout to whoever hit him, his face went blank. Eddy then began trying to explain what he had just said was just practice for a play. Kevin just responded with laugh "Dork you're just as pathetic as always. So you think you're going prank the whole school before graduation huh?"
"W-well why does that matter to you shovel-chin?!" Kevin then smirked with a smug look on his face then said "It matters cus you can be expelled before graduation if your caught. That's if someone would tell on you." Edd then with a worried voice spoke to Kevin while holding on to his shoulders, "Kevin please reconsider your actions on informing the school staff. If mother and father were to find out they'll make me hand wash fathers undergarments for a month."
With a disgusted look on his face Kevin moved away from Edd and said "Look here dork,dork and dorky. Since you actually believe that you'll manage to prank the entire school, I want to show you wrong." "What does that mean Kevin?" Ed asked. "It means that I want a challenge you dorks to see who can prank the entire school much better." When Eddy had heard what Kevin said he started to laugh out loud thinking he was joking, then Ed joined him out of pure stupidity while Edd was just staring at the two. They continued their laughing for another moment then they finally stopped.
"Kev, tell me your kidding me right?" Eddy said while wiping the tears out of his eyes cus of the laughter. "I aint joking dork. I challenge you. The winner will get to be the master of the pranks. Unless you're too chicken!" Kevin said in a baby voice in the last sentence to teased Eddy. With a vain popping out on the side of his head Eddy said in his loud voice "Oh yea! I'll show you who the true master is! I'll out prank you and it will be done in style!" While Eddy was screaming out other oddities, Kevin walked away to tell the others about the challenge.
