Zuko sat on the shore of the lake the gang had set up camp nearby. The moon reflected off the water, the only sounds being that of the surrounding wildlife. He sighed, looking out over the water.
Everyday I fight a war against the mirror

He couldn't find sleep like everyone else had. His mind wouldn't shut off, and the worst part was that it was filled with only one thing, and that was Akari.

Akari deserved so much more. Yet she had still chosen him. "I should just leave now. She'll find someone else. Someone better than me." Zuko said, throwing a rock into the lake, shattering the moon's reflection.

"Zuko? What are you doing? It's the middle of the night." Akari mumbled sleepily. Zuko jumped slightly. He had no idea how she could always sneak up on him like that.

"Zuko," Akari sighed, cupping his cheek. He turned to look at her. "I don't want anyone else. I only want you. Now go to bed. For me. You need to rest." Akari said softly.
Of course he would go to bed. He couldn't say no to her.
