"Percy Jackson! Son of Poseidon! Come to me, darling. Let me keep that beautiful, adolescent face forever!" said a voice seemingly with no owner. But I recognized the voice. The voice of the one and only Medusa. Where am I? I thought to myself. Suddenly I saw a light, and figures of many creatures. In a few seconds, I saw all of the monsters and people I had killed or envy me. Hades, Tartarus, Kronos, Medusa, the Minotaur, just to name a few. My first instinct was to reach for my sword. I checked all of my pockets and couldn't find it. Where'd my sword go?! Oh Gods, I'm screwed!

"Percy?" I heard. Was that Annabeth?

"Percy! Wake up!" I heard again. I opened my eyes and found myself in our dorm room. Annabeth was next to me, shaking me.

"Percy! You were kicking and screaming? What happened?" Annabeth asked.

"It was nothing. Just another night terror. Have you had any lately?"

Annabeth didn't answer. Her eyes got dark. Not dark grey, but black. I couldn't see where her pupil ended and her iris started. She went limp and passed out, sprawling out on the hardwood floor.

"Annabeth!" I yelled. I immediately got out of bed and dropped next to her. "Annie? Answer me!" I barked, with tears in my eyes. I grabbed my phone (which Leo had made specially for demigods) and dialed 911.

"911, what's your emergency?"

"This is Percy Jackson. I'm in dorm 312 at Barden University. My girlfriend...she passed out and she won't wake up" I managed to choke through my tears.

"Okay is she breathing?". I leaned in close to her. She was breathing, and softly said, "Percy...let me go...I love you."

She stopped breathing.

"No..."

I love you too, Annabeth.
