Chapter 1. It Begins

The Feudal Era

"Hey, can I borrow your bow?" The girl known as Kagome Higurashi asked a nearby villager. "Uh, sure. It's so far." Was the villager's only response.

"My butt she's gonna hit it!" The half-demon Inuyasha muttered to himself. "I can do this, I know it." Kagome reassured herself as she aimed an arrow at a demon crow and took the shot. Inuyasha noticed that the demon crow's foot was tied to the arrow, and since the foot was attracted by the powers of the Shikon Jewel, it couldn't help but return to the crow's body.

Pow! Direct hit! The demon crow disintegrated, but the jewel started to crack, it kept cracking and cracking until… KA-POW! The Shikon Jewel shattered into hundreds of tiny pieces, but in that instant, the jewel tore a hole in the space-time continuum in the sky above. Who knows why the jewel would do such a thing, and for what purpose?

April 1945

"All right, there's the crossroads. Gordo, take us up on that hill, we can cover the whole valley from there." Sergeant Don "Wardaddy" Collier and his crewmembers of the M4A3E8 "Easy 8" Sherman tank known as Fury were making their way towards a set of crossroads that they were ordered to seize and hold to prevent a Nazi Waffen SS battalion from smashing into the Allied supply train. But suddenly, without warning… BOOM! An explosion went off and the Fury's right tread broke apart.

"Shit! Not another fucking Tiger!" the loader Grady "Coon-ass" Travis screamed out of fear and frustration. "Mine. It's a mine, settle down, we hit a mine, that's all." Wardaddy had seen fellow tanks hit mines before, there was a difference between being hit by another tank and setting off a landmine.

"Hey, what's that?" Norman Ellison, the bow gunner saw a brief flash of pink that appeared a few yards away in the sight of his periscope. "I didn't see nothin'." Trini "Gordo" Garcia the tank driver told Norman. "There it is again!" Norman exclaimed, "Yeah, I saw it too." Gordo said in enlightened confusion. The pink flashes started appearing in front of Wardaddy, Grady and Boyd "Bible" Swan the tank's gunner, all of whom were confused and amazed by this strange phenomenon.

"The hell's this all about?" Bible asked out loud, a man of God, but not a man of science, Bible didn't know what to make of the pink flashes.

And then, suddenly a giant pink ball of energy appeared out of the blue and sucked the damaged tank in, crew and all!

"WWWWHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" The Fury tank crewmembers were screaming at the top of their lungs, their tank was being tossed around like a cork in the ocean. Norman and Gordo were hugging each other and screaming while crying out of fear.

"THIS IS IT NORMAN! WE'RE ALL GONNA FUCKING DIE! BUT I'MMA HOLD ON TO YOU! AND I'M NEVER GONNA FUCKIN' LET GO!" "I KNOW! I'M GONNA THROW UP AND I'M GONNA DIE!"

Bible: "THIS IS IT BOYS! OUR NUMBER'S BEEN CALLED! WE'RE ALL GOING TO HEAVEN WITH GOD'S GOOD GRACES!"

Grady: "BIBLE THIS DON'T FUCKIN' LOOK LIKE WE'RE ON OUR WAY TO FUCKIN' HEAVEN! BUT I LOVE YOU MAN!"

Wardaddy: "COME ON YOU KIDS, WE'RE STILL HERE! WE'RE STILL IN THIS FIGHT! JUST HOLD ON AND DON'T YOU FUCKIN' DARE LET GO!"

All: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH *gasp* AAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"

Feudal Era

In the middle of a peaceful meadow, some flashes of pink started appearing and then, a big pink sphere appeared out of thin air; it started to shine brighter and brighter and then… Poof! The pink sphere dissipated and the Fury tank stood there, tall, proud, and remarkably fully repaired. Wardaddy and his 'sons' were all breathing hard and heavy. Not knowing exactly what the hell just happened to all of them. "Now… what the fuckin' hell was that all about?!" Grady asked all scared and confused while breathing heavily. "I don't know, but we're all still here right?" Wardaddy told his boys, he was about to say what he was going to say but then he noticed something a bit off. "What the hell? Ha ha ha! Hey boys, check it out! The tank's been fixed!"

"You shittin' me? Oh my fuckin' God he's right! The tank's fuckin' fixed! I don't fuckin' believe it!" Grady couldn't believe his eyes, Fury had her busted track fixed and refurbished, the spare wheel and track was there, the logs on the right side of the tank were back where they were before their battle with the Tiger tank, and even the decorative stalhelm and gas mask were back on the tank.

Gordo and Norman popped back inside their seats and were astonished to find that the inside of the tank looked great too. All the grease and blood that Fury gained over the years was gone, it looked like their weaponized mobile home just came off the assembly line all spick and span. Grady got in and saw the fantastic details for himself, but he noticed something a bit off, the tank got refurbished but there were a few more tank shells in the rack than there were before they went through the vortex. Norman and Gordo noticed similar anomalies too; Fury's gas tank was three-fourths full, and Gordo knew that it was how much fuel they had when they left the town, and Norman noticed that there were five full ammo boxes right at his feet. But then Norman noticed something *really* upsetting, and the other guys quickly noticed it too.

"OH MY GOD BIBLE! WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO US?! WE LOOK LIKE FUCKIN' CARTOONS!"

"I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO FUCKIN' MAKE OF ALL THIS GRADY! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING! IT CAN'T BE THE FUCKING APOCALYPSE! IT FUCKING CAN'T BE!"

Wardaddy had more than enough of the freaking out than he could handle. A vein tic popped out on his head and neck, gathered his most authoritative voice and shouted "SHUT THE FUCK UP AND PULL YOURSELVES TOGETHER GOD DAMN IT!" And much to his pleasure, they immediately calmed down, all displaying an apparent sweat drop. "I expect you all to pull your shit together, let's mount up and see where we are. Maybe we can get some directions from the locals."

Fury was rolling out throughout the vast green countryside, beautiful as it was, they had no idea where on earth they were. Nothing matched the maps they carried and they didn't see a single living person for miles.

For two long hours, there was nothing. Nobody uttered a word to each other, Boyd was reading his Bible, Grady was just sitting on the floor, Gordo was keeping his eye on the dirt road with Norman sitting next to him daydreaming and trying to figure out what just happened and why. Wardaddy was keeping a lookout on top of the Fury when he saw something off in the distance that he could barely see. "Gordo halt, halt." Fury came to an abrupt stop, Don looked through his binoculars and saw something that completely stunned him. "Aw, no FUCKING WAY!" He saw a Japanese pagoda, the others popped out of their hatches and saw it too. They couldn't believe it, they were in Japan, enemy territory, meaning that they'd have to fight all of Japan just to stay alive, but Don looked through his binoculars again and saw a REAL SHOCKER! Japanese gardeners with a samurai in the background. It was a real holy shit moment for them all, they were in Feudal Japan, 500 years ago in the past.

Wardaddy sank back into his tank in defeat, they had traveled both through space AND time, and there was no way for them to get back home at all. But before he could tell his crew about their predicament, he heard some screaming in the distance.

He popped out of his commander's hatch and saw a truly frightening sight, a giant green plant like monster was attacking the people of the pagoda! Bible, Gordo, Norman and Grady saw it too, they couldn't believe that they saw an actual monster right in front of their eyes. Don saw the whole thing through his binoculars, the samurai and a few archers were battling the monster valiantly, but their efforts were in vain.

Refusing to stand by while a monster slaughtered innocent people, Don steeled himself and told Gordo. "Gordo move forward! Let's bum-rush that cock-sucker!" Fury began rolling forward towards the pagoda to face its new adversary.

"Hey, start shooting!" Norman was confused at what Gordo was saying. "What do I shoot at?" "THE MONSTER DUMB-FUCK!"

Norman let loose a whole belt of ammo from his M1919 bow machine gun, reloaded and repeated the process two more times. As Fury got closer to the pagoda, Don ordered Bible to stand by for his orders. "Grady, ready some Willy Pete, let's burn that green dick-eater!" Grady loaded the White Phosphorus shell into the chamber and shouted "CLEAR!" Bible looked through his sights and happily shouted "ON THE WAY!" He hit the trigger pedal and the Willy Pete round made direct contact with the monster, it screamed a blood curdling cry of pain as the white phosphorus burned its skin.

"Grady give that fucker a Super Charge, let's put him down now!" Grady loaded the Super Charge into the chamber and shouted "CLEAR!" Bible responded with "ON THE FUCKIN' WAY!" Slammed his boot into the trigger pedal and the Super Charge blew a hole straight through the demon's upper chest. Don looked through his binoculars again and saw the pagoda occupants cheering in victory, they thought it was all an act from God, but what they didn't realize it was by the might and firepower of their Fury tank. "All right Gordo, turn left, let's get going."

"But Don, where the fuck are we supposed to go? What are we supposed to do?" "I don't know Gordo, but we can't stay here, let's just go, we'll find a place to stop and camp for the night." And so the Fury tank rolled off into the sunset, traveling to destinations unknown.

*Author's note. This is my first ever crossover so I'm trying to work the bugs out okay? This is a story nobody's ever thought up but myself. I've been working on the story from a Microsoft Word document and I've already cranked out six chapters. I'm hoping to make no less than twenty and no more than twenty-five, to make it lengthy, satisfying and have a concrete guideline of how much I will write for this story. I loved all those guys in the Fury tank and I really hated watching all but Norman get killed. So I conjured up a crossover story that would keep them all alive and have them mingle with other characters in a story that makes sense. I will post a completed chapter once a week, but expect the chapters that I didn't type up yet on the Word document to arrive within three weeks. Please rate, review and send me a message to help me out in the future, there are some characters I can bear writing about and some I just hate so much (namely Koga) that I need help writing authentic dialogue when the characters talk to one another and I would like to hear some of your ideas for future chapters and potential crossovers.*
