Anyway, alphabet challenge! Because who doesn't like alphabet challenges? 26 letters, 100 word stories per letter. Whee!
With any luck, this will motivate me to work on those two things I desperately need to update. (Don't be surprised if a few of these show up in bigger pieces)

Tess leaned against the door jamb and watched Joel touch the cracked face of his watch.
A mostly empty bottle of bourbon sat on the coffee table in front of him, along with a shattered shot glass. Small cuts on his right hand bled onto the face of the watch.
He spoke, his voice rough as gravel and slightly slurred.
"Her name was Sarah."
Tess stayed where she was, but straightened to show she was listening. Joel sighed shakily and scrubbed his eyes with the back of his hand, then went back to touching the watch.
"She was my daughter."
