The Naruto Bridge

I stand above the bridge,

the bridge where I died

I thought about the life I had

What was in the past

What was it could have been

And whatever it is now

The Genke-Genki that cursed my life at the beginning

brought me happiness intead

And the sadness went away

I stood above the finished bridge

That I once tried to destroy

I look at the people

They were sad

But they are now happy

They once were suffering

But now they are thriving

I thought about him

I failed as his tool

I fought hard to keep him happy

I never seen him at death's door

Or heard his dying wish

I was standing above the finished bridge

Before passing into the next world

I hope to see him there

And once again help him

again and again

I will be there
