The story takes place a year and a half after Asura's death. Not much has really change. What has happened is someone is going around murdering meisters, and weapons in death city. Because Lord Death was limited on selecting a team to investigate, he got two forieghn students from america to team up with maka, and soul. ( characters will die)

1. Chapter 1

Ch 1 The Problem

It all begins after a meister and his weapon disappear on a mission. The only thing strange about their disappearance is that they finished the mission but disappeared on their way back. But lord Death shrugged it off, because an occasional disappearance of a weapon, or meister isn't a real surprise. It only became a problem when 3 more meisters along their weapons disappeared overnight the day after. In response to this Lord Death sent a team of 2, 2 star meisters with their weapons to solve this mystery. Only to have one come back halve dead, not able to remember a thing. Lord Death was of course going to send Stein, but he was too busy with some project that needed his full attention. So decided to send some exchange 3 star students that were kicked out of the american D.W.M.A., for publicly insulting the official in charge, along with maka and soul. what's the worst that could happen.
