A/N: Okay, I've had this idea in my head forever and thought I might finally use it! This would be my second story on the same day! I guess you could call this a bonus. This takes place after "Sofia the Second" I'd thought Cedric should give her some talking to after she had performed a spell without his permission and without him being there to supervise. Not to mention I think she should give him an apology. Anyway Please Read and Review
Disclaimer: No,still don't own this show.
Sofia the First: An Apprentice's Apology
Night had ascended upon Enchantia as the moon rose in the sky and the stars began to twinkle. The guests had left the castle and everyone was about to turn in except for Sofia. She still had one more thing to do before she could go to bed. She felt like she needed to apologize to the sorcerer for the trouble she had caused, after all she had used magic without his consent.
The young princess began to hurry up the stairs, hoping he hadn't gone to bed just yet. Once she reached the door that was the entrance to his Workshop Sofia held her head near the door for any sound that Cedric was awake. Within a few minutes she began to hear the clinks of beakers having that to be her sign. Sofia knocked hearing the sorcerer groan.
It didn't take long til Cedric opened the door to find a sad apprentice. "What are you doing up, you're suppose to be in bed right now." Cedric said sternly having a bit of anger in his voice.
Sofia twiddled both of her index fingers and nervously asked "Can I come in Mr. Cedric?" ignoring the sorcerer's question. Cedric rolled his eyes then stood aside to allow her entrance into the Workshop. The sorcerer didn't say much because he was sill angered about what she had done today and was also tired. He wanted to this late visit over with so he could go to bed.
Deciding to start the quick conversation Cedric sat in his chair and asked "So why are you here exactly Princess Sofia?" She was silent for a moment as she looked at the ground she began her confession. "Do you remember about how I had used your copying spell on myself today and made a mess of everything?" Cedric nodded at today's memory then shivered "I don't think anyone will forget this day Princess." he said in a drowsy tone.
She sighed "Well, the reason I came up here so late is because I came to apologize to you about doing a spell by myself without your permission,I shouldn't have done that." she answered then felt the burden she had lift. "You should because doing a spell without supervision is is very dangerous for a beginner and I could punish you by not doing your lesson tomorrow..." As he was about to finish he saw tears streak down her face and the sorcerer couldn't bare to punish his little apprentice.
Sofia waited for him to continue as she looked him in the eyes and brushed away the falling tears. "Well, as long as you promise not to do a spell by yourself I guess I can except your apology. Sofia brightened at his answer then hugged the tired sorcerer. "I promise!" she answered. The sorcerer gave her her a soft smile then returned the gesture telling her it was time for her to go to bed.
The princess nodded in agreement then began to walk out of the Workshop saying "Goodnight Mr. Cedric." Leaving the sorcerer to stand there with a smile on his face.
A/N: Yes, yes I know it it's short but this was a small plot. So Please Review. Wow, my second story today!
