It's my first fanfic, go easy on me…
Ch.1
(BPOV)
"Edward, what are you doing?" I asked my angel. He was seated on a stepladder, paintbrush in hand.
"Painting," he replied as he swiped his lime green paint over his black and gold wall.
"Well, yes, but…why?" I said." Your room is perfectly fine!"
He ignored me and continued to try to paint. He dipped his green brush in the red container of paint, and proceeded to draw a big circle.
I stared at him, aghast. Why was he doing this? I thought my angel was good at everything, but this was not good.
Edward was drawing big, pink, lopsided ovals that were connected to the red circle.
"What is that?"
"A flower!" he answered happily. He turned around to get my approval, but knocked over a jar of purple paint in the process. It splattered all over his room. He stared at the globs of purple paint running down the wall and shrugged.
He continued to smile at me, and I gave him a forced, half smile in return.
The next day he was still painting. I wanted to laugh at his attempts to paint, but it was too sad, in a way. He painted big blobs that were supposed to be animals, and there were yellow smiley faces all over. It looked terrible.
One day, while Edward was painting, and I watching, Emmett came in the room.
"Edward, Jasper wanted to know-"he stopped short, staring at the walls. "I mean….ROSE! GET IN HERE! EVERYONE IN HERE!!!!"
I gasped and jumped up. I tried hitting Emmett, but I didn't want to break anything.
"You meanie!' I shouted. "Don't!!! Please!!" For I knew that Edward's family was going to laugh at him and tease him forever.
Emmett ignored me and waited for the other's arrival. They came in a second, and crowded in.
"WOW!" They breathed as one. Then, they all clustered around Edward and started to ask him questions.
"Man, good job!"
"Edward, how can you do this?"
"Can you teach me?"
Emmett laughed and turned to look at me.
"You were saying?" he asked, a grin on his face.
"Nothing," I muttered, my face turning red.
I guess vampires don't have the same opinions as humans.
10 minutes later, all the vampires in the room were sitting on the floor, throwing paint at Edward's wall. All of them were smiling and having a good time.
"Bella, come paint!" Alice squealed.
"Uh...no thanks, I got to...go…" I muttered, my face down.
"Well, ok, but come back soon!"she cried and continued painting.
Edward gave me a quick smile as I left, and I gave him one in return.
As I closed the door behind me, I sighed. Vampires were weirder than I thought.
