"I met Ginny Weasley when I was 11. I noticed her right away. She was such a sweet tiny thing. She was very shy around me.

On my second year, which was her first, I got to know her better. I even rescued her from Voldemort's diary in the Chamber of Secrets!

Then we met on our holidays, we started getting along better and better.

On my fourth year, I felt really sad when Ginny told me she was going to the Yule Ball with Neville. At first I didn't know why.

She became a great support during my fifth year. Even though she got my position in Quidditch, she was always there to tell me I would one day get back in the team. And I did, as soon as Umbridge left. She was also a very important and talented member of Dumbledore's Army. She played a major role in the Ministry against Death Eaters!

She was such a powerful witch… Her Bat-Bogey Hex was the best, and she was impressive on a broom as well.

And then came our sixth year. That's when I noticed my real feelings towards her. But she had a boyfriend. Thankfully, everything worked out for us, since she broke up with her boyfriend. We had a time of bliss.

But then things started to get difficult, and with the war I decided that we should stop seeing each other. I wanted her to be safe, and being in a relationship with me wasn't safe during the war.

I missed her terribly during seventh year, but at the same time I had to fulfill a very important mission and defeat Voldemort – which I did.

A couple of months after the war ended, we got back together. Two years later we got married. There is just one thing I will never be able to forget : Ginny's face when she said 'I do' at our wedding and soon afterwards when she gave birth to three wonderful children that..."

" Eww. Was I one of them?" interrupted Lily from her bed. Her two older brothers remained silent, but with the same facial expression as their sister.

"Yes indeed!" answered Harry cheerily. "You were such a cute thing when you were a baby! You still are. In fact…"

"Are you telling these awful stories to our children again?" came a voice from the entrance. Harry's beloved soon appeared in the children's bedroom.

"Hey! It's important to learn about the past!" retorted Harry.

"It is. When you actually tell the truth. They are going to have nightmares again." Harry pulled his beloved into a kiss, threading his fingers into his blond hair. His blond added "If my children ever want to dye their hair to red, or Merlin forbid, marry a red-haired person, I will make you pay."

"And how are you going to do that, Draco?" purred Harry into his ear. Draco's breath caught. He then pushed Harry playfully away, earning a chuckle from his husband.

"How was work?" Harry asked.

"Fine, as usual. Tom just came back from Paris. Ruler's duties. He will come over soon. He has brought gifts for the kids."

"Great! I'll cook tomorrow then." Said Harry, as he saw Scorpius yawning. "Now, kids. Time to sleep."

He gave a goodnight kiss to his beautiful and thankfully blond or brown-haired children and he then watched as Draco did the same. It made such a perfect picture. He had never been happier.

He sniggered as he thought back to the bedtime story he had been telling his children. He loved scaring them at night.

There was indeed just one thing Harry Potter would never forget: Ginny's face as he started going out with Draco in fourth year and as he finally revealed where his true allegiance lied when the war started in sixth year.
