Written for September Event: Family Day for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry( Challenges and Assignments).
It was a quiet day in the afterlife.
Well, as quiet as it could get with the death of the Last Potter.
"HARRY! MY BOY!" James 'Prongs' Potter exclaimed, hugging his son furiously.
"Now, Now James." Fleamont potter, Harry's grandfather seemed to say. "Give the boy some place to breathe."
"I remember you behaving in a similar way." Euphemia pointed out, sharing a smile with her daughter-in-law.
"I do not know what you are talking about." Fleamont said, both takingoffencee and feigning innocence.
"dad, please.."
But harry's words cut as his sons jumped on their grandfather and father.
"DAD! You took so long!" James Sirius seemed to say.
"Papa, I missed you." Albus said affectionately.
"JAMES!"
Immediately, James the first left Harry and stood straight, Lily Potter smirked and said, "yes. That is better."
She walked up to his son and touched his cheek. "harry."
Harry smiled, teary-eyed and hugged his mother.
"You have grown up so much!" she whispered.
"Thank you, Mum."Harry said. "For giving me this life."
"I would do it again." She said.
The two stood there for some time, savoring the moment. But potters, well, they didn't like silence.
"Oh COME ON NOW!" James Sirius said. "Dog-Grandfather and Mum and Lily are waiting as well!"
"Let them wait!" Lily scolded, not even bothering to leave Harry.
"Um, grandma?" Albus said slowly. "Please?"
Lily sighed and Harry grinned. Lily left her son and turned back.
"Albus, I swear this is the last time you are using your voice on me! You are like a siren!"
Albus grinned sheepishly. Harry looked at the two people he supposed were his grandparents.
"Um, hi." He said slowly.
"Potters don't say hi." Euphemia said and stepped up to hug her grandson she had never met. "They hug."
"Yeah, dad is a bit slow in understating it all!" James joked. James and James high fived as the other rolled their eyes.
"James." Euphemia said in a warning tone and immediately the two began whisteling. She turned to Harry with a smile.
"Let us go meet your wife and daughter and godfather."
"Daddy!"
Harry smiled as the young version of hiss dead daughter jumped into his arms. Ginny was standing a few steps away, staring at Harry with her murderous glance.
"Hey princess." He said slowly. Harry looked up at his wife and smiling sheepishly, said, "Um, hi?"
"I told you to get rid of the Deathly Hallows." Ginny said, looking like an angry bull.
"I know. I am sorry."
"YOU WERE DOWN THERE FOR THREE HUNDRED YEARS! THAT'S UNNATURAL FOR WIZARDS!"
Harry cringed. He carefully put Lily down and was about to speak when a huge dog jumped on him and began barking and licking him.
"Padfoot!" Harry laughed. The dog barked once more and turned into Sirius. Not the Azkaban-haunted-Sirius, but the twenty one year old Harry had seen in the pictures.
"Harry! My Godson! The Savior!"
"Hey Sirius." Harry laughed as Sirius hugged him.
"Leave the poor boy now Sirius." Lily, the mother of the Savior, said.
"Of course not!" James, Sirius and James Sirius said.
Harry laughed, Here was the family he always wanted.
