The Meeting - Part 1

My Marbles Your Beer - The Meeting

There you stand, Mr. Charming, another beer in your hand. Asking me to dance while you stammer and sway; do you really think you look good this way?

It happens each time, always one in the crowd. Do you really think it's necessary to speak so loud?

If this is your character, time I just don't got. You see, Mr. Charming, my marbles are lost! I'd love to change you, if only you could see, I've really got time only for me.

Blame it on me for coming into this place. You see I've got boredom written all over my face. I seem to attract Mr. Charming everywhere I go. Must be because I envy them so.

Mr. Charming's not afraid of what I might think. He always offers to buy me a drink. While the handsome, sly men who sit back and prowl, unleash what I find exciting somehow. Yet they seldom approach me, and almost never call. Maybe Mr. Charming wouldn't be bad afterall!

Mr. Charming, you're terrific; every girls dream. Your mind doesn't consist of conceit and greed. You treat me like a long lost friend. Mr. Charming, all my life, I wonder where you've been.

I began dreaming of dinner at the Rodeo Ranch. Going to the movies sitting hand in hand. Walking down the aisle in fairytale romance. Traveling the world seeing London and France. Yes, Mr. Charming, I would like to dance.
