The time had come. Someone had to do the dirty work in this sticky situation. "Yugi, Jaden, Yusei..." Reality looked each of the in the eye seperetely. "There's something you guys need to hear."
"Can this wait?" Jaden grumbled, rubbing his stomach. "I really need a sandwich or something. I'm starving!"
"Will you knock it off?" Yusei gave Jaden a nudge in the side while Yugi simply sidestepped slightly away. "It has to be something important enough to interrupt a possible duel."
"That's right. What is it?" Yugi looked back at Reality, his arms crossed with a lack of patience written on his face.
"I hate to break this to you, but you're not really changing reality. It's a children's card game. Children's. Card. Game."
The three young duelists looked at one another. Yusei spoke up first. "That's not true. It's a serious sport. We've stopped many villains, all of us each. Well, except Jaden."
Jaden glared at the raven haired duelist. "Hey! I've done my fair share!"
"Shut up Kuriboh." Yugi locked his eyes onto Reality. "Why would you think it's not so?"
"I'm Reality. I know this. It's a game for children. Nothing you do in these duels matter."
None of them said anything. They all exchanged glances. "
"Dark Magician!"
"Stardust Dragon!"
"Elemental Hero Neos!"
Reality stood still and watched the three monsters firing. It vanished in a blast of light and the three monsters vanished close after. Yusei and Yugi gave one another a high-five. Jaden raised his hand to high-five them, but they both turned away from him.
"With reality out of the way, let's play a game."
"Duel?" Jaden asked in response to Yugi.
"The best damned children's card game ever."
