Lilac was sitting impatiently. She had been waiting for Jocu for a few hours now and she wanted to show him one of her favorite recipes that she had been working on. But by the time he arrived, she had put everything away.
"Lilac?" Jocu called out, now appearing in her kitchen as she was finishing putting things away.
Lilac didn't respond. She was feeling too frustrated as she cleaned the dishes. Jocu felt her disappointment and walked up behind her.
"Listen Lilac. I'm sorry I didn't come when you wanted. Sasha and Rachel needed me and…"
"You always go to them first! Who are those girls anyway?! I met you before anyone!" Lilac said angrily.
"Hey, calm down." Jocu said calmly.
"I don't wanna calm down! I want you to be there for me! You used to be before you met them and now you like them better than me!" Lilac said, now throwing down a pot and running back up the stairs to the room with the others.
"That's not true! Lilac come back!" Jocu called, now trying to run after her, but he paused when he felt his father telepathically calling him back.
"Jocu…I need you to return. It's important." King Lauhin said.
"But Father, Lilac is very upset and I really need to talk to her." Jocu pleaded.
"I am sorry Jocu, but you need to come back now. You can speak to her later," King Lauhin said gently. Jocu nodded sadly and teleported back to the realm.
King Lauhin was having a meeting with them about protecting the realm. Since there was a rumor that the Nitian prince was seen near their part of the realm, they had to be very careful.
Meanwhile…
Lilac angrily began pacing to clear her thoughts. How could Jocu be there for people that came after her? Why did he favor them more than her?!
"Who even are those girls?! Why are they coming between me and Jocu?!" She said angrily.
"Who indeed?" a deep voice said lowly. Lilac turned in shock and saw a large Nitian sitting behind her. He had long, black silky hair, dark brown fur and deep yellow eyes and sinister and pointed fangs. "Why hello there young one?" he soothed.
"YOU?! You're a Nitian!" Lilac said in shock.
"Of course. I am the Nitian prince, Soren." He said, now standing and running a claw under her chin. She angrily pushed it away, but he gave her a pouty face.
"Go away!" she snapped.
"Oh now you've gone and hurt my feelings. I was going to help you get rid of those girls and help get your Jocu back," Soren said, now turning and walking away. "But if you don't want my help…"
"Wait!" Lilac said, now making him smirk. "What did you say?!"
"I can help you Lilac. All I need for you to do is deliver these gifts to the girls' house for me." Soren smiled, now handing her a package.
"What?! Why can't you do that?!" Lilac said, now suspicious.
"Because they have those Lauhinian brothers around them too often. The brothers would know that it's me and all would be ruined." Soren said, now eyeing her carefully. "I promise you. If you deliver this, those girls will leave Jocu alone and you will have him all to yourself again."
"R-Really?" Lilac smiled.
"Of course. Do we have a deal?" Soren smiled, now putting his clawed hand out. Lilac stared at his hand a moment, still uncertain. "Remember…without me, Jocu will forget about you and you will probably never see him again because he will be with his new friends."
Lilac then looked at him angrily and grabbed his hand. "I won't let that happen. Deal!"
"Perfect. Now deliver this package to this address. They live at a place called the Grant Mansion." Soren smirked. Lilac nodded and took the package from him. Within seconds, she was heading out and Soren only smiled a devious smile. "It is only a matter of time before this plan is placed into action."
Meanwhile…
"Look Rook! We have a package!" Rachel smiled. "It's from Jocu!"
"I can't wait to see what it is!" Sasha smiled, now walking in with Whampire.
"Well don't just sit there. Hurry and open it!" Whampire smirked. Rachel grinned and opened the large box. Inside of it were four beautiful reddish fruits that looked as if they were glowing. And there was also a note!
Hello Rook, Rachel, Sasha, and Whampire!
Please enjoy these wonderful treats from me and my clan. They are fresh fruits from our tickle trees.

"Woah…they are beautiful." Sasha said in awe.
"I know. I can't wait to have some." Rachel said, now passing a fruit to each of them. Whampire took a moment before biting into his.
"Something seems a bit…strange about this fruit." Whampire said lowly.
"I know. I seem to feel that something is wrong somehow." Rook said. Their alien instincts were stronger than a human's and they felt that something was amiss. But Sasha and Rachel shrugged it off.
"Oh don't be such a baby! Eat some!" Sasha said, encouraging Whampire.
"You too Rook!" Rachel said. The aliens looked at each other and both took bites of the fruit. For the next few moments, nothing happened.
"That fruit tasted wonderful…but…I'm feeling a bit sleepy now," Rachel smiled, but her smile faltered as she felt a bit woozy.
"Me too. Isn't that…funny…" Sasha said, now barely able to stand.
"Something's wrong!" Whampire said, now trying to hold Sasha up. "It's that fruit!"
"We've got to call Jocu now!" Rook said, now feeling himself barely able to stand too.
"J-Jocu help!" Rachel called out. But the minute she called out to him, Soren appeared and made a complicated hand gesture.
"YOU?! Who are you Nitian!" Whampire snapped.
"Your worst nightmare," Soren grinned, now teleporting them away to the Nightmare Realm! Within a second of them disappearing, Jocu appeared.
"Rachel?! Rachel where are you?!" Jocu called. He then sniffed the air and his eyes widened in anger! "SOREN!"
And with that, he teleported back to his castle where the brothers and King Lauhin were having a significant battle! They had just had a battle with the Nitians! The Nitians were right in the middle of invading their part of the land!
"Jocu?! Where did you go?!" Lauhin said seriously.
"Father, Soren has them!" Jocu panted.
"Who?!" he asked.
"Rachel and Sasha!" Jocu panicked. He has them I know it! I sensed his power at the mansion a moment ago!" Jocu said.
Lauhin nodded and informed the other brothers. "The girls have been captured. We have to form a plan."
"That won't be necessary…" a deep voice called from the battlefield. They all turned and saw Soren come forward.
"You all have a choice! Give me the chamber box that holds my father and I will give you the girls and their fiances back!" Soren called.
"Why you little monster?! What have you done with them!" King Lauhin thundered, making the prince jump back. King Lauhin was enough to frighten anyone, Nitian or not.
"I have them in my possession! I won't give them back until you give me my father!" Soren called out. "If not, I will keep them in a living Nightmare forever!"
"You're bluffing!" Vivo hissed.
"Am I?!" Soren snapped. "Do you want to risk it?!"
"You harm one hair on their head and I will turn you into black dusk before you can even blink!" Jocu roared, making some of the Nitians step back.
"You do not scare me Prince Jocu! Now do we have a deal?!" Soren said.
For the next few moments, there was nothing. The brothers looked at King Lauhin, who was staring hard at the evil prince.
"Father? What do we do?" Amio asked.
"We have to save them," Blithe said.
"I will take care of this my sons," Lauhin said, now making the chamber box appear in his hands. "Bring us the girls and their fiances and you may have your king."
"How do I know you will not break your promise?" Soren said warily.
"I could say the same about you." King Lauhin said lowly. But Soren had no choice; he had to do it if he wanted his father back.
Soren then made a complicated hand motion and the girls and their fiances appeared. They were asleep, but they thought nothing of it.
"Rachel…Sasha," Jocu breathed out in relief, happy to see they were alive.
"Why are they asleep?" Jest asked, now eyeing them carefully.
"Because they passed out from my nightmares." Soren lied. "Now then! Give me my father!"
Lauhin's eyes narrowed as he threw the box to Soren and then Soren quickly backed his army back.
"With my father back, we will be back in order!" Soren stated proudly. "And…you will not be able to wake them up! They have eaten the forever fruit!"
"FOREVER FRUIT?! I knew there was something wrong!" Jest said in horror.
"That's the fruit that you don't wake up from unless you have someone kiss you who is close to your heart!" Vivo said in horror.
"And their fiances are asleep too!" Amio said in terror.
"YOU MONSTER! You planned this all along!" Jocu roared, now lunging at him, but Lauhin held him back.
"Jocu remain calm! We need to come up with a plan or Rachel and Sasha will be in forever sleep forever!" Lauhin said.
"Maybe you should think twice about who you are around Jocu! Thanks to your negligence, I got exactly what I wanted. By the way, tell Lilac I said thank you," Soren laughed out, now snapping his fingers and teleporting back to his castle and as the Nitians all began to retreat.
"Lilac?! She did this?!" Jocu said in shock.
"We can discuss that later. We need to find a way to wake them up!" Vivo panicked.
"How?! We can't do it because they need someone to kiss them that is close to their hearts. Their fiances are not awake." Amio said, now shedding a small tear.
"It's all over. They will never wake up." Jape said, now turning away sadly.
"My sons. Do not despair. We still have someone who can wake them." Lauhin said with a gentle smile.
"Who?!" All seven asked. Lauhin then looked at Jocu, making the others look at him too.
"Me?!" he asked.
"Of course. They know you and they trust you Jocu. You are the only one who can possibly save them now." Lauhin said, now pointing to them. "Kiss them my son."
Jocu's face turned even redder for a moment, but he nodded and walked over to them. He leaned down and picked up Rachel first and placed his lips on hers. He let his warmth cover her and before he knew it, she slowly began to kiss back and wake up. Feeling her wake up, he leaned back. She opened her eyes and was shocked!
"J-Jocu?! W-What's going on?!" she said, her face red in embarrassment. But Jocu only pulled her to him in a hug and cuddled her.
"We will explain later. In the meantime, please kiss Rook." Jocu said, now gently letting her go and picking up Sasha. Rachel's mouth dropped open as she saw Jocu gently place his lips against Sasha's and soon she slowly began to kiss back and stir. Once she was awake, she too was flustered but was told to immediately kiss Whampire!
After everyone was awake, they were all told what happened and why Jocu ended up kissing them.
"Jocu! You saved our lives!" Rachel said.
"But did you have to kiss her?" Rook smirked without heat.
"Hey, I did it to save them and nothing more. What's wrong kitty? Jealous?" Jocu teased. Rook only laughed and threw a playful punch at him.
"I just can't believe we made that young one that jealous." Sasha said sadly.
"No. Lilac would never do something to harm anyone. I'm sure she was promised something, but she didn't know this would happen." Jocu said.
"Maybe when you talk to her we can meet her sometime," Rachel offered.
"Yeah. That way we can try to be friends," Sasha said.
Jocu nodded and then hugged them once more. "I'm just glad you both were safe." He then looked at Whampire and Rook. "You guys too."
"Jocu, we owe you our lives. We owe you all." Whampire said, now shaking his hand.
"Yes. Thank you. Thank you all!" Rook said, now shaking the King's hand and some of the brothers.
"Our pleasure. Now then…let's send you all back to the safety of your home." King Lauhin said.
"But what about Damus?! You all told us that he was set free!" Sasha said in horror.
"Let us take care of him. Rest." Lauhin smiled, now letting her hug him. Within a few moments, they were all sent home and Lauhin turned to his sons.
"Damus will be dealt with as usual. In the meantime, relax my sons. We won this battle. And Jocu? I think you have a small matter to still take care of." Lauhin said with a gentle smile.
Jocu nodded and immediately teleported back to the orphanage where Lilac was sitting on her bed.
"Lilac?" Jocu said, now looking at her sternly. "We need to talk."
"A-About what?" she said nervously.
"How could you make a deal with Soren?!" Jocu said, now getting heated.
"H-How did you…"
"Know? I know because we just had a battle with him and I had to rescue two of my most beloved friends," Jocu said, now looking at her. "I am disappointed in what you have done young one."
"I didn't mean for anyone to get hurt!" Lilac blurted out!
"Then why? Why did you do that little one?" Jocu said, his heart breaking.
"He-He promised me that we would be able to be together more! That's all I wanted! I just wanted us to hang out more! Not hurt anyone!" Lilac said, tears dripping down her face. Jocu looked at her with concern and held his arms out. "No…I don't want a hug! I wanna be left alone! Go and hang with those other girls! I wish we never met!"
And with that, Lilac ran past him and took off down the hallway. But as she ran, she could hear thundering steps behind her. She turned and saw that Jocu was running on all fours and gaining on her fast.
"Lilac stop!" he called.
"No! Go away! Leave me alone!" she snapped, now running down the stairs. She almost hurt her ankle, but she managed to just stay ahead. Currently she was alone in the orphanage, so no one heard the commotion. Lilac finally made it to the front door and ran out into the rain. She was going to go to her favorite hiding place. An abandoned old hotel that was condemned to be torn down.
She burst through the old front door and ran up the old stairs to her hideout bedroom. It was an old bed and she put her own blankets and pillows on it so that it could be her own secret place. Once she was inside, she threw her stuff down and tears began to roll down her face.
"Finally…I'm alone." She said.
"No. You're never alone." A voice said. Lilac whirled around and saw Jocu walk inside and shake the water off of him. He then stood up on two legs and began approaching her. "Come here little one."
"No! Stay away from me! We're no longer friends!" she said angrily. Jocu only chuckled and continued to approach.
"I'm afraid that's not possible. For you see, I refuse to let you go or your friendship so you don't have a choice. You are stuck with me," Jocu smiled, now pouncing at her. He wrapped his arms around her waist and the two tumbled onto the bed! She struggled, but Jocu had her and he wasn't letting go!"
"Jocu let me go! Let me go now!" Lilac pleaded, now squirming.
"No. I'm not letting you go Lilac! I know you had a bad day and I apologize for making you feel that way. I apologize for making you feel like I no longer have time for you!" Jocu said, now holding her tighter. "Stop squirming little one; there's no escaping me!"
Lilac tried one more attempt, but Jocu made sure she had nowhere to go. Finally, she just let herself go limp and she heard him gently chuckle.
"Come on…let that go Lilac and let's start over. I forgive you, but I want you to forgive me. Rachel and Sasha forgive you too and they also want to meet you." Jocu said, now nipping her ear playfully.
"I forgive you Jocu and I'm really sorry for my mistake; I will never ever help or talk to a Nitian again! I promise. But no…I can't face them. Not after that terrible mistake." Lilac said, now turning away.
"Hey…" Jocu cooed, now cuddling her in her neck and making her gasp and giggle. "Come on…let's see a smile."
Lilac barely smiled, but Jocu wasn't done. He then began playfully kissing her neck, making her burst out and laugh! He then wrapped his arms around her upper chest in a bear hug and began nuzzling her. Within a few seconds, he turned over and let her lay on his furry chest. He then lifted her chin to look at him.
"I love you young one. I have no favorites and I want you to remember that," Jocu soothed, now winking at her. "And I know you feel that way, but both girls really want to meet you."
Lilac still looked very unsure, but Jocu understood why. After a few minutes of cuddling and making up, Jocu teleported back to check on the girls. They were doing just fine!
"So will we meet her?" Rachel asked hopefully.
"Not yet. She still feels embarrassed and upset," Jocu said. Both girls pouted, but he only chuckled and hugged them. "Not to worry. As long as you all are ok and she is alright, everything will be alright!"
And with that, they hugged and cuddled as long as they possibly could. Jocu really was a hero to all of those who knew him. He was the very best friend that they could ever ask for. As Jocu walked out the room for a moment, the girls only giggled to each other.
"I am in love with my Rook." Rachel giggled. "But..."
"I was thinking the same thing!" Sasha laughed. "But Jocu shocked me so much with the kiss."
"Me too! He's a good kisser," Rachel teased.
"Oh? Do you really think so?" a deep voice said from behind them. Both girls then began laughing as they were pinned down on the carpet and Jocu began placing gentle and playful kisses on their ears and necks. Jocu was more than a friend and family...he was their hero.
guestsurprise: Hope you all enjoyed it! I honestly wonder what would happen if the girls ever met Lilac. Hmmm…it has my wheels turning for sure. I also think that the ladies believe Jocu is a good kisser. ;)
