It is for the first time today, I walk across my new home, our new earth. I glance above me, not a thing in site, but for what I've seen, could this have been a blessing? Somehow, everything is different from how I remember it. The North is now the South, and water floods the lands. Our lands. It comes to me now to wonder, all those things we learned in social studies about, Pompeii, and Atlantis, does any of that exist anymore? If it doesen't, where did it all go?
I stretch my arms, feeling the suns warm rays. Everything that happened... Was this gods way of telling us we shouldn't live in greed? To many questions and not enough answers. Now the earth is made of 87% of water. 14% more of what there only used to be. Another queton, I thought the amount of water on earth always stays same...
There are very few of us, who remain today. Only a few hundreds. There isn't much land, at this point of time, so we'll have to learn to conserve it, every inch, every second, every hour.

Builders are hard at work, building homes from nearby wood and timber. For now we get out every now and then, for some fresh air, but the rest of the time, we remain inside our submarine. Its strong walls feel protective to me. My only protection. Some people have developed a fear of going outside, only a few of them. Like Mrs. Ruller, they had to drag her out. Then the old woman, passed out right smack dab in the middle of our new lands.
So for now, the rest of life on earth remains a mystery, and a few of my friends and family are all going to pitch in and un-cover this one, big, enigma.
