Summery: Endymion's love for Serenity is deep. He believes the only way they can be together forever is to kill Beryl, painfully.
He stood over the huddled figure, his eyes hard with rage.
The point of his sword at her throat. A small sound had him glancing over into the wide blue eyes of his love.
He could see her horror at what he was about to do. Shaking his head he spoke, to make her understand.
"I wanted you so serenity. I loved you, every day I saw you, I loved you that much more.
She took it all away from us. This red haired bitch took it again and again, out of jealousy, greed.
I should have killed her then.
She has taken away my love, my very soul, for her selfish stupidity.
I can not forgive such actions. She must never walk this earth again."
Usagi bowed her head at his harsh words.
"Killing her will not bring that back, Endymion."
"I can not let her live. Turn away my love, for I would not wish you to see this monstrous thing I do."
He raised his sword above Beryl's neck. Usagi turned away with hands to her eyes as the blade descended.
Endymion grabbed her and held her close.
"Do not look on it." He lead her from the cavern. When they were safely away Usagi turned to the prince.
" Endymion, you know that I'm not Serenity. I may … look like her but, I am Usagi."
He sighed. "I do know, and someday I hope I will regain Mamoru's memories, his thoughts." He grabbed her hands, holding them to his chest.
"Until then you and I could… try. You and she are so similar and I… I fear I can not live again with out her love. Your love." His eyes pleaded with her, to understand.
Usagi's eyes filled, burning. 'My soul hurts. How can I do this.' Her thoughts were spinning. 'Why did it have to be like this? To end this way.'
She smiled through the pain, and gave a small nod. He gathered her up in his arms, embracing her as if she would break.
And she very well could.
The first tear fell when she spoke.
"I can't go on with out your love either." 'Mamoru…'
