I don't expect reviews but they would be nice, I just thought this song described the phantom after Christine left.
He looked down upon the stage (lets just say he went back there kk?) it seemed so empty with out her.

She had betrayed him! So why couldn't he get out of his head? All he thought about was her! Her hair, her eyes, the way she sang.
And if you have to leave I wish you would just leave cause your presence still lingers

She left a wound on him that he didn't think would ever go away. It hurt so much just to know she did not love him.
These wounds wont seem to heal this pain is just too real there's too much that time cannot erase.
He thought about when she was younger he comforted her, he tried to make not afraid.
