Darkness meets him.

He welcomes it.

Darkness engulfs him.

He embraces it.

He cannot see for the darkness has clouded him. It has taken him. Away.

It is so tempting. The temptation of sin exceeds the power of virtue.

Thus he wants it.

Thus he welcomed it.

Thus he embraced it.

The darkness, is pleased.

Weakness overpowered him,

(Only in his mind)

It blinded him.

Watching those around him,

Walking away with power,

While he lagged behind.

Envy

Hate

Loneliness

Just helped the darkness inside,

Grow.

The sin of Eve takes its toll,

Smothering the light

Leaving nothing but,

Darkness.

Having nothing left,

(Or so he thinks)

He leaves.

Memories

Are gone.

Family

Is dead.

Friends

Are worthless.

(So he tells himself)

Weakness is still there

It never goes away

But he keeps on walking

The lonely streets at night,

With nothing but his shadow

He walks.

("Please…don't go…")

Never stopping.

("I-I'll…I'll scream..!")

He stops.

But only for a second

Time stops

As he whispers,

("Thank you...")

She can barely hear it,

Before she falls unconscious.

Standing at the Gate,

The darkness waits

For him

As he takes the red luscious apple,

Biting into the sin,

That would send him into pandemonium,

The snake waits

For the precious boy he would about to take

Into the summit of shadows of

Immortality.

("There is more than one path to life, which makes it even harder to get lost when you don't know where you're going in the first place…")

This is just about Sasuke giving into the darkness and Oro's rants about power and crap…I think this is one of my best works at poetry yet RxR!
