The woman in the robe ran through the streets, holding a small bundle in her arms. Her eyes looked back and forth, making sure nobody had seen her.
She stumbled on a small house, and looked the address.
4710 July Lane, Peaceville, Northern Mobius
She walked up to the steps and placed the bundle on the doorstep. The woman looked into the bundle one last time. A small, tan lion cub was sleeping peacefully. The cub had a small tuft of blonde hair on her head, and, unlike the curved ears of a lion, had the pointed ears of a fox. Her muzzle was white with two tufts of white fur coming out at the ends. Such a beautiful child, and now an orphan.
The woman in the robe pulled it back to get a better look at the child. The women was a tall, plant-like creature with blue eyes and green leaves on her head, along with two roses growing out from her head where ears would be. It was her fault that the child was now orphaned, and was now trying to cover up her horrible act by giving the child a good home.
She placed a bracelet into the bundle, one with a Leo the Lion symbol on it, and it was the cub's mother's bracelet. Along with the bracelet, she brought out a small peice of paper with a name on it.
Cosmo stood up, knocked on the door and started to walk away. She looked back one last time, and said, "I'm sorry, child." She than fled into the rainy night.
An elderly female tasmainian devil opened the door. "Who's there?" She demanded. The devil was blind, but she could smell a child. It was female, and feline, and still a newborn. "My, my." She said when she picked up the sleeping lioness. "How'd you get here?" She turned her head left and right, calling out to see if anyone had lost there child. She heard a ting-ling of the bracelet and went inside.
"Wave! We have a visitor." She said. A female swallow with a swollen stomach came in. "What?" She said. Wave saw the devil and a bundle. "What've you got there, Mrs. Bliss?" Wave asked. "A child." The old woman replied. Wave took a tep forward, and than saw the baby. She also noticed the peice of paper with writing, and bracelet. She snatched up the paper and read it;
Calla-Leona
That was all it said. "Her name's Calla-Leona. It says so on this paper." Wave said. Mrs. Bliss chuckled. "Looks like the Bliss household has another resident." The baby woke up and blinked eyes eyes open. Her left one was blue, her right was hazel with more brown in it. She opened her mouth and Mrs. Bliss and Wave thought she was going to cry, but nothing came out. The devil and swallow exchanged a confused look. And with that, she and Wave walked into the kitchen, going to get Calla-Leona some milk.

Okay, okay. This is my first real fanfic, so go easy on me. Okay, 'Why I Shouldn't Touch a Chaos Emerald' was my first, but that doesn't count, 'cos it was crap. Anyway, post good reviews, please, and I'll post more chapters. But for now, R&R!!
